yesterday my love bug had to be put to sleep. I was not able to stay with him at the vet so i just had to say goodbye and just left him.

on monday night he started pooping and peeing blood. it was so sudden. thought he had a blockage from something he ate or maybe ate too much, it happens often with ferrets. so i watched him like a hawk, hoping to see if it would get better.

tuesday on through early weds. morning he never got better only worse so there was no choice but to take him into the vets. there was nothing to be done but put him to sleep.

today i find out that a friends ferret also suffered the same thing. turns out their spleen ruptured and it just happens and not a single person knows why, so even though it was hard i know that it was the right decision.

right now his sisters koko and misa are okay. they know hes gone and i feel so empty and drained but hes not in pain anymore and hes over the bridge with his brother howl.

So my current flare up has lasted 3 weeks so far. It's gotten to the point where I can't even take a full shower. I'm in the process of getting medical insurance through the state. Just filed my address change.

Lately I just want to sleep for a week and hope I wake up pain free but (a) I don't think It will happen and (b) I'm adult and shit still has to get done.

I dont even remember what it was like to not feel any pain. I started vaping more because i normally have a 5 minute window before the pain is unbearable. Sometimes i will push through it to smoke a cig but sometimes it's just too much.

And as of last month I'm starting go see signs of fibromyalgia along with my rheumatoid arthritis so that's been interesting. I've tried taking ibuprofen,naproxen, any otc back pain reliever, arthritis rub on medicine, pain relief patches not all at the same time of course but nothing is working.
