Reflections



It is that time again for reflecting, thinking about my life, thinking about what is going on in my life, my personal perceptions of what is going on. You know, we always think we have it so tough – that our personal problems and issues are THE WORST, that no one else could possibly be as stressed, or have as many problems as we do right now. Well, that just is not true.



Now, I could sit here and list all my own issues, and that list would be pretty long. But for all the issues in my life, I have my sweet sweet love also – my Ray, who is here to help me carry the burden of it all. He balances all the negatives out, for which I am eternally grateful! But, I digress.



My dear friend, my soul sister, is going through a terrible time right now, and even though she is, she continues to smile, to be happy, cheerful, and kind. She is a true inspiration to all, a wonderful lady, a joy to be around! I look at her and think, her problems are so much worse than mine, how can I even complain? How can I even think my problems are bad?



Reflecting on my issues, I realize they are only as tough as I make them. I look at my dear soul sister, and realize this, realize that we can make each day a good day if we CHOOSE to make it that way! Take one day at a time. Worry is a wasted emotion, because what good does worry do? Nothing! Taking action is the only thing that does anything! So, my action is to prioritize my issues, and develop a plan. Do what I can do, and that is all I can do! Enjoy each day for what it is, because life is too short to needlessly worry, or to be miserable. Enjoy life with my family and loved ones!



If any of you are in the same boat as me, choose to make each day a good one. Don’t take your loved ones for granted, make each day count! Tell them you love them! Choose to be happy!

Very true angel love and very well put! A lot of people struggle with this emotion, some just choose to bury it rather than overcome it which solves nothing either because what we bury always comes back to haunt us.

You are always the kindest Lisa!! A warm heart open to everyone!! A good friend and amazng woman!! You are our best friend and sister to Dakotah and me. Both you and Ray are our family even though we are not blood related. We are happy to have you in our lifes!! You both are strong and kind. Always helpful and cheerfull!!

Lily and me enjoyed you and ray's visit last night. Just wished we were not so tried. I went right to sleep. :) We both wanted to stay up and visit with you two but we were beat.



Yeah tell you when we get news like we got this past week that her tumor got bigger we decided its ok we will enjoy every moment and we do. Where it is a terrible time we are having fun. See what we do in SL is what we do in real life if we could. We get up, have breakfast, rp cooking... and living a normal life with our daughter Anna. Some might say its strange but its what we enjoy and its what I know makes Lily happy and that makes me happy. Lily has taught me too that no matter how bad life can be you take the time and be grateful for every day you are given.



Now we got a wedding to plan and I look forward to sharing that day with you and Ray.

Ray and I really enjoyed last night with you both too Lily and Dakotah, and of course Anna! Y'all have the place fixed so beautiful - so soothing and peaceful, it is just gorgeous. We love you both dearly, and miss being with you, our family, when we are not there!




 

Stress, Stress, Stress...

Stress, stress, stress...seems like I live in stress lately. We all have stress in our lives, true, but me, I seem to draw it to me lol. I get rid of one stressful thing, only to get two more.



I am TRYING to finish my doctorate degree, and only have two more classes to go, but I do not have the money to finish. My financial aid has run out, and the courses are so expensive. I am stressing out trying to figure out where to get the money. My credit sucks, and I cannot take out a loan.



Our loaning system sucks here in America. They will give people who have good credit a loan, and don't need the money. BUT, if someone needs the money and does not have good credit, they won't loan them the money. WTF? That is so stupid to me! I mean, if people did not need the money, they would not need the loan! I just don't get it.



So yeah, stressful right now. But, I will figure something out. I always do. Might not be what I WANT, but it will be something.....



My next serious self-reflection will be mine and Ray's personal goals, and what we need to do to reach them. We have the rest of our lives to think about, and once I finish my doctorate, he and I have things we want to do together. So, we are going to sit down and decide on our personal goals. Reflect together. This is something I cannot wait to do!
