I just want to use this first entry to let you know about how long I've been seeing supernatural things occurring around us.

Now, I don't recall anything before this, but I do very much so remember my first memory, ever, having to do with the supernatural.

I was probably around three or four years old and I was living with my Mom at the time. My mom was oft out working or getting high (sad but true) and left with a baby sitter I can't recall the name, but everything else, of. She was older than my mom, at least 45. Her kids were in college, one, the elder, her daughter went to some really nice school. Her son went to the community college near by the house. Her house was a town house, two story, not as small as most town homes, but not exactly spacious. The carpets were yellow-ish beige and she had an obsession with keeping it clean. Her dog was a gorgeous golden lab, and whenever he misbehaved she hit with a spoon right above his tail. (Why??)

One day she went to pick up medication or something I guess from a Wal-Greens across the street and had me wait at the park across the street. It was fall time and no one at all was at that park. It was cold, with leaves falling, and no one around.

With this sort of description and a 4-year-old protagonist you'd expect me to be scared, but I most definitely was not. I liked to be alone. It'd let me think about all the things that's gone on around me that day.

I was sitting on the swing drawing in the dirt with my toe while I thought about things, when something not exactly tapped me, but I felt someone was there. It was such a strong presence it didn't need to touch me for me to know they we're there. I looked over my shoulder and there was a blonde girl dressed head to toe in pink winter clothes. When I say winter clothes, I mean North States winter clothes. I knew it was cold out side, but by God's sake it was Texas! I didn't say anything about her outfit, I didn't say anything. Which was very unlike me, I always, always was outgoing.

"You wanna play hide & seek?" She asked me.

I just nodded before turning to look at another strong presence near me. This time a boy, dressed in summer clothes. Shorts, a polo, but he was very pale with shock black hair.

"Can I join?" He tried to smile but didn't do very good at it.

I shrugged as the blonde girl said "Of course!" as if he had asked her the most obvious thing in the world.

The summer boy volunteered to be 'it' for the first round. We ran, hid, got caught, repeat.

We were all laughing and having so much fun and I hadn't got caught for a while, but it was my turn again.

I went to the giant tree in the middle of the park and counted to twenty. "Ready or not here I come!" And I swear as I turn around I could not feel them around me anymore. Like they had fallen of the edge of the planet.

I wandered for what seemed like ten full minutes, which was probably actually two minutes. Finally I came to the big green garbage bin. I slowly peaked around the corner and saw the two of them.

The blonde girl's pink clothes were traded for white church clothes, and the boy swapped his summer garb for black jeans and a white and grey striped sweater. They were still, not breathing and eyes glossing, but standing super straight, chin high.

To this day I regret what I did next. Without thinking, I blinked. They vanished.

I didn't tell anyone until much later. Eight years later. Now I'm saying it again. I hope you guys don't think I'm insane. I hope I'm not insane. That wouldn't be good.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this memoir of mine. I'm never been very good with endings so I'm just going to.. end this....
