Ah yes, we have all been there and we have all heard that from our significant other one time or another. We also know that it is complete and utter nonsense and always want to know what we did wrong so that we can correct it and find a way to work it out. You ever notice it comes when you least expect it? Whenever you let your guard down, and truly be yourself and start walking on clouds. Then when its all over and you are alone, you start to notice everything in a whole new perspective, trust goes out the window and everything becomes negetive. "Why did that light stay green just long enough for everyone except me?" "Those two look so happy, that person has it made, I will always be the one looking and never being able to settle" "Why try when I am just going to fail" Countless excuses to see life in a negative way and why do we do that? Because it is easier to think that way and the more it happens to us the less we want to trust someone new. Life is always better if not for me then someone else. But that is the price we pay for higher intelligence, we feel, we want and we desire and it only gets more aggressive with age.
With all that is said and done though, there is always someone thinking exactly the same way you are and the second you stop trying so hard, the second someone comes back into your life. The more we crave someone the less they want to have you around, the world is about give and take, push and pull but if you pull too much they will eventually just let go of the rope and let you fall. You ever notice that someone always wants to be with you when you want nothing to do with them? Thats because you arent trying to signal them with flares, you appreciate their company, smile and respond and wait your turn. It works that way with those you truly want as well its just harder to go against your instinct. Try it out sometime, see what happens.
Why am I writing this article as if I am a writer for cosmos magazine? I have no idea...Its 6 in the morning and I was lost in thought and suddenly "It isn't you its me" Just popped in my head. Well I shall leave it at that, hope you crazy cats have a nice night. Enjoy, smile and play hard, but not too hard. ;-)
