There was a girl who fell in love with a blade,
She cut her wrists to remove the pain,
An one day she dug down deep,
Staining her bright white sheets,
With this came a great relief,
So the girl was happy for a day,
Until she saw the scars would forever stay,
An late at night she contemplated her next move,
Tear open the flesh or salt the wound,
Rub the words deep inside,
Bury your face behind the lies,
Darling it’s okay to cry,
Those hateful words aren’t worth your life,
An even though your flesh is writhed and torn,
My fingers still die to explore,
Every inch of beautiful flesh,
But it’s not just your body I wish to possess,
I want you all, every bit,
To show you a world that once exist,
An even though I can’t change the past,
I can try to make the future brighter then the last,
So put down your blade,
Your shimmering knife,
Give this world a chance,
Live your life,
Because in the end we all go to the same place,
An all these words are trivial,
I dreamt a dream in shades of grey,
A dying light led me a stray,
Down the path of corroding flowers,
Lay heavenly saints in the darkest hour,
Bewilder they stood like monuments,
Eyes focused on nothingness,
Mumbling words without sense,
Spewing hatred of luminousness,
An as I gazed upon the blind men,
Something in the shadows crept like the wind,
Watching me watching them,
Then the dark shadow began to speak,
His voice the sound of devils wings,
Come with me my child,
Awake from this dream,
Without a question I took his hand,
Swiftly he pulled me from never never land,
Off into a world like no other,
The warm womb of my mother,
Embraced by the night,
He left without a trace without a sight,
Yet I can still smell him here,
In the wind my love is near,
The whole world danced on the tip of her tongue,
Blissfully unaware of the rising sun,
The warmth graced every inch of her soul,
Turning her once cold heart a beautiful glow,
Now the sky seems to glitter a heavenly blue,
An life seems to wrap it’s arms around you,
Embraced by the shimmering dawn,
A peaceful world with colliding tongues,
Because love doesn’t exist if it is not shared,
And the world is a lot colder when nobody cares,
So when the sun rises in the atmosphere,
Don’t be afraid of the light it bares,
