The photon of light is a particle and it’s a form of electromagnetic radiation. Light is energy and is made up of particles called photons, the photons has a frequency and osillilates at 90 degree angle, called a transverse wave, which can travel through the vacuum of space. According to Einstein’s theory of general relativity, the speed of light never changes, it’s constant, and one rule you must accept in special relativity, the speed of light is always the same in all frames of reference.
For centuries Scientists believed that light was massless, but Einstein proved that this was wrong. Einstein pictured space and time as a fabric, and massive celestial objects, like planets and stars warped, stretched and distorted the space-time fabric. This caused space to be warped and curved, and this was Einstein’s creative way of understanding gravity.
Gravity would have a different strength depending on the mass of the object, and how much space and time is curved. During the solar eclipse of 1919, Astronomer Sir Arthur Eddington tested Einstein’s theory. He observed the background stars behind the Sun in the blackout of the total eclipse. He notices that the distant stars slightly shifted their position. Eddington had proved that Einstein’s theory was correct, and this made Einstein famous over night, and hit the headlines around the world.
Light has mass, so if light has mass then it’s affected by gravity, because light travels along curves of space, and bends around the Sun’s gravity. When a photon of light goes through an electrostatic field it will feel no attraction, it will pass strait through in a strait line, because the rest mass and charge is zero. When a ray of light reflects off shiny surfaces, the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection, because light rays travel in a strait line, it’s like throwing a ball of a wall and it bounces back with the same angle where you throw it. Light can slow down slightly on Earth, when light travels through different mediums. Light travels faster in air, then it does in water and glass, because light will travel slower in a denser medium, because the molecules are closely packed, then in air. In air the molecules are more spaced apart. When light slows down we call it diffraction. Light is refracted when it goes through glass, depending on the angle of incidence, and the shape of the glass.
When white light passes through a glass prism, the light will slow down and will refract, and will split off into all colours of the spectrum. When Sir Isaac Newton did this experiment, he decided to place a piece of card between two prisms. He poked a hole through the card, allowing the red light to go through into the 2nd prism, and he noticed that the red light went strait through the prism and nothing happened, the red light was pure, and it stayed the same. He found out that the white light is the mixture, and the colours of the spectrum are in their purest forms.
We see objects, because the photons of light are constantly bouncing around everywhere on the Earth. Most of the colours we see in nature, came from the Sun that shines in the daytime. The Sun emits all types of electromagnetic radiation into the vacuum of space. Light is made up of particles called photons, and the light takes about 8 minutes to reach Earth from the Sun, and light takes about 1.2 seconds to reflect from the moon to the Earth. The light comes streaming into the Earth’s atmosphere, and most of the blue light is scattered across the daytime sky, by the Nitrogen gas in the atmosphere. Light is reflecting around everywhere all the time, and this is how we see everything in beauty of the nature of our planet.
It’s all to do with how we observe, because photons of light come streaming into our eyes, so the brain receives the impulse, and the brain projects the image into our conscious minds. We observe everything in the world and the Universe around us, and we observer and everything we see and feel is our consciousness, it’s like our own reality. When we look at objects, the reflective ray of light with its frequency enters our eyes, so we observe and collapse the wave function of the particle wave. The photon of light will strike the object and emits a certain frequency of the make up of that object. If the object is green, it will absorb all colours of the spectrum, accept green which is reflected to our eyes, and our eyes will pick up the frequency of green. Bright green will have a higher frequency and dark green will have a lower frequency, but red will have a lower frequency then green, because red has a longer wavelength. Everything in the world around us looks different, because there are lots of different frequencies around us in everyday life. We only see things simply by observing, so the observer collapses the wave function of particles.
According to Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, they can be particles or waves, depending on if they are being observed or unobserved, so the particles can obey a total different set of laws, when they are being observed or unobserved. They act as waves when they are not being observed, but when the observer observes, it goes back to behaving like a particle again, because the observer collapsed the wave function. So we call them particle waves.

This is my reading by my best friend Kirsty (MorbidAngels15)
I thank you so much for the 3 card spread you did on me, and you are a wonderful person, and your reading is great, keep up the good work.
past : The Lovers - A decisive point has been reached. An important choice was made to refrences to do with true desires rather than duty. A dramatic change in attitude lead to happier times. Happy relationship or business.
present : Reversed - The Empress - Being over-protective and tyrannical, emotional blackmail and perhaps even poverty.
future : The High Priest - The high priest symbolizes a wise and capable advisor, to do with forgiveness and comfort. The influence of established faith and power of the conscious mind. This could represent a teacher and rules to get along with in the future. The main point of this card if advice.......
