I suppose in many ways I'm just like any other 20-something year old trying to make it on their own.

I have a heart full of hope, and a head full of doubt. I live below my means to ensure that I can pay my bills, yet I still often worry that my funds are too short. I frequently ponder as to whether or not the path my life is on is the one I want, and furthermore if it's the one I'm destined to have forever.

Unlike most 20-something year olds probably, somedays I feel like I'm 90 years old. I guess checking yourself into rehab at the tender age of 21 will do that to you. Nonetheless, it was the right decision even if unlike many people around my age I don't go out and party all night anymore.

Perhaps the reason for this could also be because during my childhood and adolescence, I had experiences that hopefully the majority of people will never have to go through. Some were beyond my control, others were by my own fault because I was an ignorant, troubled kid.

I'm just curious to see where I'll be 5 years from now, 10 years, and even 20 years.
