The numbness is crushing me into comfort,

For fair to long I've been uncomfortable.



So lift up the lands on ancient skies,

This breed of angel is not to be misjudged,

One more day and it's all over,

We can say we've weathered the storm,

Ice forming at the base of volcanic flowers,

From hell springs the feeling of warmth.



This winter wonderland has failed,

To bury me in its icy clutches,

Although I carry the scars from her nails,

I carry the hammer for my Duchess.



And although ice mixes with fire,

I carry on hoping for a better tomorrow,

And although the nightmares reach higher and higher,

I will not dwell on this sorrow any longer.

The burning fields of flaming torture,

Shadows loom trying to find a cure,

For their ailment of standing apart,

This is a piece of misplaced art.



Splattered on the television screen,

Blood coagulates on the dying scene,

This man of glass is broken into shards,

Why do others seek to do others harm?



The ocean's are filled with a dead man's tears,

He's washed away by his own gripping fear,

You kept sailing on to a distance place,

Now I sink into an infinite time and space.



When all it would've taken is a signal,

Twisting bridges only to have them stay,

The shadows lengthen to pave their darkened ways,

Now they are fully and completely infected and diseased,

Trying to find one among you who will take them deceased.

And to have it all end without glory and fire,

Leaves me wondering what is the point of desire?

Oh, it's quite exquisite! The words are wonderful, it's very well planned out. And the method to perhaps regain love as what I what of through reading this, and demon for bloody pain to help keep the demon alive, it's all quite genius. I could never write something like that, especially not that looked that good. It's fantastic.



I would say what was the monster or perhaps human repenting? Maybe he wants to redeem himself from her light, instead of walking into darkness...

Visions of the golden blue,

Silver lining of the past overdue,

Destruction of Genesis followed by Revelation,

A mass Exodus down the Road of Perdition.



We are on a collision course with fate,

Due up next after goodness comes hate,

They say we need both to survive,

But with one, we truly thrive.



Those in the grave have valor,

Because they wanted something more,

But in the end all they found is this,

Second chances prevent eternal bliss.



The dreams of one will kill the other,

This is man turning with violence on his brother,

The dreams of one will become broken,

The soul of the damned shall awaken.

Those not prepared will be first to suffer,
