I know a lot of people probably could care less what I write, but if you guys could take some time out of your day and check out a band called "Sybreed" that would be great. So...this is where I stand. I sleep during the day and work at night. I wish I worked all the time. Or had friends to spend time with. I guess I'm one of those few people who is meant only for a very special few. I guess I'm destined to not have many people close to me. That is okay with me, but it can be a lonely existence. Hmmmm...I'm stuck.



I need a smoke, a strong drink, a woman's love, some metal in the background and a cat sleeping on a chair. A moon that is always full, starts that twinkle, wind that makes the trees whisper to me and water flowing endlessly down the banks of a river. I need a woman's love, this is true. But I need it here. Next to me. I need to watch it sleep within her, watch it open its eyes to the world. I need to feel her warmth next to me. I need her, whoever she is.



But, I'm afraid deep down I won't get what I want. At least not all of it. And I'm torn between what I want and what would be right for me. Can I not have both? Or will I have to choose? This I wonder on. This is what makes me lose sleep. I dream of two, but will never obtain either. Maybe I am supposed to be alone. Left to my writings, my music and nothing else but the work to be had on my future desk.



One kept away by distance, one by her own doing. I have nightmares of them both. Teasing me, tormenting me. A sick game. When will these sleepless nights end? When will the dreams stop? When will all of this cease to be? Who knows. I don't. But wish to know.



Maybe she is supposed to be mine. Maybe not. Maybe I've meet her. Maybe I haven't. Maybe I've loved her once. Maybe I've hated her more. However she is, I can't wait to meet her.



To her, I wish her sweet dreams. Be at peace. Be blessed. And know that I love you and miss you. I wish to be reunited with you again. Soul to soul. Spirit to spirit. I wish to love you and only you. I hope to meet you soon, I hope to get to know the real you. I hope to start over again, to build on what was lost. I hope to never lose you.



With that, I sleep.
