Hey Look what poem I have found just navigation on the troubled waters of the International Network... of waves... err.. whave-lenghts?.... *thinks* ...whatever:
about Eloa by Alfred de Vgny
Poem (1823)
Eloa - "sister angels, angelic creature, born from the tears of Jesus Christ. Ascension into heaven, EA took in the assembly of angels, standing out among these exceptional gift of compassion, inherited from Christ. Contrary warnings of "brothers", it is permeated by sympathy for the fallen angel Lucifer, meets him at the "bottom of heaven" and agrees expiate his guilt for his love. However, forcing E. to surrender his power, he resets martyr's mask and kidnaps her as his captive and the victim.
Poem "Eloa" is subtitled "a mystery", but typical unambiguous assessment of the genre here, as in Goethe's Faust, intentionally blurred, making and action heroine, and her whole face appear ambiguous. Detached from the powerful authority of God the Father (He never appears in the text poem),E. is not protect with him the divine order of creation, but continues to ransom mission of his mystical father of Jesus, and brings it to the limit - its sacrificial love it extends even to the enemy skies Lucifer.
On the other hand, Lucifer, and he presents himself not only suffering, but also compassionate to every creature of death, which he gives comfort in lust, in the delights of the flesh.
Love and E. spirit of darkness - a paradoxical competition in charity, in this competition no places of power and subordination, and spiritual strength E. here is so great that Lucifer even feel an instant rush to repentance. Authorities again declares itself only in final poem, and in the absence of God, the Father of its relentless support may speak only the Lucifer-Satan.
Théophile Gautier said is "le plus beau, le plus parfait peut-être de la langue française"(the most beautiful and maybe the most accomplished of the French language).
