finally its october and FINALLY summer is ending. i live in south east texas, and summer like to hang here a bit longer than most. cold front is coming (so they say) so will be getting storms (i live storms) and the highs will be in the 80s (F for my euro friends). yes, that is cool after a texas summer. will be able to break out my cooler weather clothes soon.

I was going to say..80 degrees c lol that would have been hot!

A heat wave here is anything above 20 degrees (c). Winter can drop to below -12 but on average it's around -6/7. Winter nights are awful. I'm naturally cold so I'm usually wrapped up in about 3 blankets when I'm sat on my sofa. I hate the cold!!

I'm stubborn not to put the heating on though. I'm a big penny saver.

To this, I think that would depend where you are in the world.. as for my city lately we have sprinter.. er spring, snow..lol.. Nature can't make its mind up..lol.. I'm on the est time zone, and canadian even though my profile says foke lore

completely depends on location. some places 0 would be warm still, and others 40C would be cool. to give an idea where i live, its much like south florida. we have bayous, swamps very varied wildlife, warm winters and alligators lol
