My 10yo brother has a smart mouth. Not so unlike me. Today we had a small family gathering so I could have a birthday party with almost all of my siblings there.



It was a pretty cake with icing roses on it (Eh... roses).



Half the children said they wanted a piece with a rose on it. Hmm, 3 roses and 9 children.



Anyway, they were poking at it.



Ew...



My brother, being the little smart ass he is (we get it from our father), said he was getting one of the roses, and I told him I would swipe them all right off the cake.



He said I wouldn't...



I told him I'd plant it right on his face.



He said no, I wouldn't...



So I wiped one right off the cake and smashed it right on to his cheek. They were bright red, so the dye stuck on his face and my hand for a few hours. My mother was not so amused because he was going to church tonight. It's not like I got it into his hair though.



Have you ever had to try to get icing out of hair? It's kind of a bitch.



Best part of the party though.
