Recently I became faced with the possibility that I may not live as long as one would expect, barring being run over by a bus and other such random hazards of modern day.

And if I'm honest, my first response was “Oh great another one”...

But then I started to get angry.

Not with the idea of dying, but with the way I found out, and the fact that even through it is down in black and white, no one ever thought to tell me. In fact I was told I didn't have it, when I was originally tested. So know I must wait yet again to see, what the truth of this all is.

I talk of cause of Lupus.

An insidious illness, that can kill a sufferer or leave them tiptoeing along their whole lives unsure of what it might do.

The irony of all this is that I already have a genetic disorder that means I could die even as young as my late 40s.

So maybe they just didn't think it was worth mentioning this one too.

Hope you like taking medrol (steroids). Just try and live healthy and you will be fine for a really long time most likely, though.
