Why do people message others on here asking permission to add them? (No answers necessary)



Seriously it is irritating as it is when logging onto to read some message of.....



Greetings fair Lady, I have travelled from afar and have bestowed a perfect 10 upon your lovely profile (brain wonders off with an "Oh really!") Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

I have viewed it to be best to add and rate you as well (waiting for the begging adds and rates return favour) as blah, blah, blah,blah, blah, blah, blah.

PLEASE RETURN RATES AND ADDS. (There it is!)



Clearly at this point I know that said member has actually just skipped to bottom of profile rated, added and then messaged me without actually reading.



But when I get messages of asking my permission for said member to add me I cannot stop this. Not that I have a problem with it either way. But as a query what the hell do you think I am going to do? Pop out of your monitor screen and unfriend myself on your profile......Mores to the point I dont actually know you we are not really "friends" so why should I add you?



Its simple really, add or dont add me. Either way dont message me with silly questions.

If I am chatting with a new person and we seem to be hitting it off and they add in the conversation 'Hey mind if I add you as a friend?' I find that nice. But if a random person message me that whom I have never spoken to be fore what I take from that is 'I am only asking because I am trying to level and I want you to add me, rate me and friend me and we will most likely never actually message each other again and I am doing it this way because a lot get pissed if I send them the copy paste message I use to send about how I already added rated you and please return the favor.' So I might say Sure knock yourself out but chances are good I won't add them back.
