I watched you board the bus today

They took you away from us.

I didnt want to let go,

"Im scared" I manage to say.

" So am I. But I love you. Goodbye my love" He answers me.

"Dont you tell me goodbye. Your comming back alive and in one piece.. I cant lose you. Your kids need you but So do I." I say as the tears fall and it starts to rain.

His unit stand there as he holds me tightly in the rain.

" Dont go" I choke out.

"I have to I want to protect home and Home is you and the kids" he says as he kisses me.

Before he gets on the bus I say" You better come home back to me."

He left at 3 am today.
