the young lady brushed her long hair in the ornate large mirror, when a breeze came through the open french doors that held an outline of her friend, Lord Sebastien, The present Lord of the local coven was needing some wisdom about te new young vamp that had shown up and was apparently had been abandoned and was living in a old farm all by her self. "Do you know anything about the young whelp that lives on the old farm near my house?"
Lady Raven replied "Her birth Family is dead and she is very shy, and with being attacked, I'm certain that she won't be very welcoming." "hmm, that is a problem,
I will send a couple of my most trusted servants to talk with the young whelp." Lady Raven picked up her goblet of blood and gold and poured it down her throat and then turned to her table. Sir Thom and his squire Nicolas came into the forure "my lady, we are to go andtalk to the young whelp and give help if she is open to help." "Sir, what do I do if she does not welcome us?""Leave that problem to me,Nick, I know what to say" Sir Thom replied.
They both mounted their steeds and galloped to the farm where a scared, young woman had been assalted and cruelly attacked. The young woman was aprently doing her regular chores when she heard sounds of horses and thought "What are those idiots going to do now?" When the riders came up to her home, Sara was poinyimg a gun,her grandaddy's, at both Nicolas and Sir Thom. "My lady, please put yhr gun down, we will not harm you" "Oh, like last time,sorry but I think not." an upset Sara cocked the barrel Nick and Thom looked at each other and spoke in mind "Good Lord what was done to this female?""I dont know, but we wii find out soon"
There was a scream of pain on the other side of the door, Nickolas broke the door down and swooped up Sara and vaulted up upon his horse Sara was in much pain and agony and couldn't say anything.
Nicolas was feircly hilding on to the the young Sara, as he roe his mount Midnight, back to lady Raven;s house for safty resons.
Sara screamed in total agony when Nick placed Sara on the queen sized bed, she looked like a child in such a large bed that she would disapper if she moved anywhere in the bed. "What happened to the girl!?"both SirThom,LadyRaven and Lord Sebastion asked Nick after he made Sara move comfyand left the room.
"Lets go to the salon and talk there." They all moved to the salon and Nick began the tale. "When we arrived at the house, Sir Thom and I both were theatened with an old gun,her grandfathers from what she said then she screame as if total agony and then we heard her sceam in agony, luckly the door could be opened and then i picked her up and got her here"
"Do you have any idea about wo or what happened to the child?" Lady Raven asked "We do not know, I just got her out of there before anything or one could do anything else to her." Sebastion went to his cellphone and calleda good doctor that could handle something like this situation. "I've called Dr.Dragon and he'll be here in a few minuets. So lets wait untill he gets here, so lets just stay here and wait..... ah, here he comes " The good doctor opened the door. "Ah,sebastion, now tell me of the patient that Nick has rescued." "The only thing that Thom and I know is that she thought that we were her first attackers"Nick told Dragon. "Hmm, ah,I know what to do."
He came to where Sara was placed, he gently brushed her redened cheek and her eyes opened showing fear and pain and untrusting look in her face. "How are you childe, are you going to just stare at me or talk?" "Where am I, how did I get here?" Sara's sore throat couldn't take any more punishment. Dragon gave her some water and a thoat drop to let her questions come.
A quiet "thank you" came out of her mouth. And a quiter "your welcome"was replied by Dragon. "Now tell me what happend, as much as you could remember." the good doctor said calmly. "Well, it was thursday, and I was doing my wash, and I had heard the doorbell ring and I answered the door and it was a man,I think, because he looked like a young boy wearing grownup's clothing and he had a large dog with him, the dog looked feral like a wolf."
Sara put another drop in her mouth to help keep her voice from leaving her. "Then he grabbed me and then he took a 'snif'on my neck and then he started wailing on me, which gave me the beat marks on my face, then he then gave me a small peck on my lips, whats up with that. " Sara asked with confusion in her eyes.
"That is strange, either a warlord or another master was trying to see if you were available or it was a nether creature coming to put his mark on you." "I hope not the latter" "You are safe you are at Lady Raven's home with Lord Sebation, and Sir Thom and his squire Nicolas. Nicolas brought you here because when he and his knight brought you here because when he went to your house, you were acting like who ever attacked you, you aparently had gotten your senses together. And then screamed with great pain."
She automatily looked embarrassed as if her greatest fear had been found out. her face then tured bright pink, Dr.Dragon gently chuckled, and said "There is no need to be ashamed of what had happened." she screamed and started with large soft teardrops and then passed out. The doctor gently placed Sara back under the covers and left the room quietly as he came. Dragon then went to find Lord Sebastion, who was still in the library with everyone else. My lord I have news,
its worse than I feared,.... the high prince, Prince Edward had found his mate and....
Just then a calling of trumpets blew a loud cry of salute, and everyone went to the door and poured out to meet the Prince. Edward was a giant of a man, who could make even the skies obey his whim that he chose. "I found my mate and then heard that she had been taken by me." Edward spoke angerly. "My lord, I had taken her because she is a human in my land and all humans and vampires in my land are under my protection."
Edward gave a resemblane of a grin and then turned his eyes to the doctor. "Report" "My lord, she is confused about why she was attacked, her face beaten and then kissesed chasly" Upon hearing this, Edward's eyes turned blood red. His voice roared "Who dares do this to my Princess?" The doctor repleied " she spoke a a young man who beat and then 'gulping in air'kissed her"
Upon hearing the sin , Edward screamed at the top of his lungs "Find this whelp who dares such foolishness!!" All of the prince's ravens went and took to the skies in search of the foolish whelp.
At the coffee shop Lorna, friend to Sara, was getting all her purheses in her car and got ready to leave the mall, she looked up in the sky, and doped hers and Saras new dresses and thenwas shocked to be eye to eye with a royal Raven.
"Female, you know of our new Princess, yes?" "Who is your princess?" she looked conused, alamed,and a little pissed. "a younge woman, name Sara."he soundeda bit robotic his eyes closed, as if waiting for a 'No'. "Yes, is something wrong"Lorna was sounding worried now. The raven smiled. "You will come with us."
Then a huge horse like creature came thundering down the road Lorna gasped, the Raven then picked her up and leaped into the gothic style saddle Lorna gave a yelp of surprise. The horse creature carried both riders with no problem back to Lady Raven's chateu where the Prince and everyone else waited for word on the finding ofthe usurper of the prince's mate. The raven bowed low to his sire, then Lorna asked "What the hell is going on here, where is Sara?" Edward was surprised at the outburst, "My Raven, who do you bring to me?" "My Lord, she is handmaiden to your Princess" A royal brow was raised in unsuredness. "Tell me my lady, what is your duty to my mate?" Edward asked. "Where is my friend,is she Hurt?" Seeing the consern for his mate, Edward then replied "She is safe and being cared for."
Lorna asked "Can I see her, please?" "Certainly." Edward put her hand on his arm and brought her up to the room where Sara was resting. When Lorna came to the room she opened the door and heard "Lorna, thank god you came!!!! I want to go home, please!! " Edward replied "Not until you are well enough to travel" Sara looked at Edward "do I know you?" "all will be known in time."
Sara looked more confused then turmed to Lorna and asked "did you bring my journals?" Lorma claped her hand to her forehead and groaned "Everything happed so fast, that I left thenm in my car. "
Then the Raven that brought her her came in with the dressed and journals and laid everything down gently on the table next to the bed. Sara grabed her journal and opened it and then noticed her favorite pen wasn't there, "Lourna, do you have a pen?" Lorna rummaged throgh her purse and pulled a big blue pen and gave it to Sara.
While Sara and Lorna chatted like two long lost sisters, Edward and the others left to give them privacy for some time. the prince turned to Sebastion and asked "How was my mate when she was found?" "she was nonresponsive but she came too just a few hours before you came. " Edward just nodded in agreement that it happend that way. his raven came into Lady Raven's grand room wherea young man was being held in chains and two other Ravens were holding the chains.
"who is this, my ravens?" "my Lord, this is the foolish one who dared harm your mate." Every one gasped in shock, "Lord James, how...what is this?"Sara and Lorna came in with sara's blackend eye and being in a nightgown and a mans robe,black as night. "Nathanial, help my mate to a chair and watch over her" An irrate Sara looked as if she were going to scream very loud and long. "I think I asked a question, why is my best friend in chains?" Lorna grabed Sara and settled her into a chair next to the doctor. Lorna stood next to her to protect her. "best friend? you mean to tell me that this animal is...."
"He and I both grew up togther, his house and my house were next door neibors. and he is not an animal. " she snarled at everyone especialy Edward. Both the doctor and lorna and nathanial went and grabbed Sara and took her back to her room to let her calm down. nathanial took a gaurding pose over Sara as she started to fight him. the doctor asked Nathanal to go back down and relay to his Prince that his mate is safely back in her room and given a setative for her nerves. "Yes doctor , let me be the one to sedate her first before i take my leave." the doctor gave him the needle and restrained Sara so no one was injured.
As Sara went down and started to softly snore nathanal left her room to relay the given message. When Nathanal entered into the great room, he saw that the 'Animal' wasn't present. "Is everything alright with my mate?" an anixuse Edward asked . "Your mate is safely back in her room and given a setative for her nerves." Nathanal replied. Edward let out a breath that he started to hold when he saw Sara start her crazy talk. "Nathanal,go and watch over my mate while she rests and tell the doctor to stay as well to make sure she eats some food when she wakes. "
Nathanial nodded and headed back to Sara's room with his orders. When Nate returned to the room Sara was still sleeping, he squeezed thedoctor'sarmandpulled him out to the balcony; "the prince asked me to come back here to look after his mate and to let you know to stay with her when she wakes, you will see to it that she eats some food."
"Did he say anything about what she should eat? no just give her something with no chocolate because it will give her a very bad stomachache." the doctor nodded and heard Sara moving and saw her hands guing toward a small bag with chocolate, the doctor gently removed her hands from the bag before she could get anything in her mouth,"I'm sorry my dear, but choclate is not allowed...yet"
Sara just looked totally pissed. "But I'm hungry,"sara cried out Nathanal was returning with a salad and what looked like a jucy, delicious burgerwith all thefixings witha drink much like a strawberry milkshake Sara went into serious drooling mode at the offerings Nathanal could smell the drool and went quicker outside where the night air was cool and crisp and set the princesses table.
Then he mentaly called the prince MY LORD IHAVE SET THE TABLE PER YOUR INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE COME UPAND JOIN YOUR MATE, he then returned to where Edward's mate was brushing her hair and wearing a very large valuptuios house robe that was one of Edward's old robes, "my lady, lunchon is served"
Sara's eyes sparkled with hunger and nearly ran over poor Nathanal in trying to get to the food. "whoa there,chere we have to wait for the prince"her eyes said 'no way,hosea' just then Edward came in and saw the murdering look in Sara's eyes "now come my dear , you nust be famished"

Sara was pacing loke a hungry wolf before sitting down at the outdoors tableand being presented with a siler plater with a dome shaped cover on a table with silver eating utencles, and
goblets of blood colored liquid withwhat looked like strawberries but didn't smell like stawberries. Sara pinched her nose and asked Edward
"What is that, a bloody mary?" Edward took a deep breath, and answered "it is a rare,special taste that few can handle. What is it? just a special drink that only certain people
can handle. you can't handle it Oh yea? " With that, Sara, went and grabbed Edward's gobblet and poured it down her throat.
Edward gave a low rumbling chucle as Sara went and started to puke her guts out. "Whatis in that nasty shit? You do not want to know, my mate well, whateer it is only elder persons like my self can drink and not loose their stomachac."
Sara started losing her lunch at that moment Edward chuckled at herand gave her his kerchif to clean her face "all young ones try drinking blood when they think that they know everything" "BBB...BLOOD!!!!!!" the doctor came out to see what was the problem. "my Lord, what is going on?"
Edward had just retrieved his goblet and replied "we were just talking about our soon to be differences after we marry, and she was surprized. "the good doctor deeply sighed "Edward, she tried the blood? Yes,it didn't taketo well to her. I'll see her to her room and let it get out of her. " Edward nodded his approval of what the doctor was going to do, "stay with her and make certain that she sleeps eight hours I want her not sleepng the whole day away."
"yes my lord"replied the doctor as he and Nathanal were taking Sara back to the couples bed and let her sleep everything she ate for dinner off. Edward then called for lord Sebastion to make plans for his and Saras joining. "my lord what is it, that you need?" Edward looked at Saras door thatwas being watched by nathanialand rhen he turned and replied I'm thinking of maybe a simple cerimony. Simple? yes, but I thik I'll get lord drey and his wife to decorate for the wedding. "

She's sleeping now I'm letting her sleep after drinking my goblet of blood."Lord and Lady Dragon both had shocked looks on their faces. "a human drank blood? hopefully she wun't won't become ill" Edward chuckled. "No she won't, but becoming vampire she mayfeel woozy for a day or two." Archer went up to Sara's rom to look at the newly created Vampire, she saw a young looking woman resting at peace; Archer went nearer to touch and see how far Sara was on changing into a vampire. appearently she was just begining. Dr. Dragon, saw Lady Archer and "my Queen, what are you doing here?""I need to ask Edward's mate for the color scheme for her wedding." "She's not awake, she's asleep and she won't wake untill sunday. "
"ahh, let her rest, let me know when she can talk with me"Archer quietly Edward was right behind Lady Archer. "Sneeking around, my lady?" "Sneaking? Me? never"Archer said looking shocked at the acusation sneeking, "Sir, I never sneek, but maybe steal kisses from my lover"she replied with her deep southern accent. "my lady, my mate is changeing her lifestyle, and you must not awake her," Archer nodded in agreement "yes your majasty"
Sara was back in her room, resting in her bed. She and lorna were chatting, then Edward came back and ruffled sara's hair; "my lady, are you sleepy?" Sara yawned and lowered her sleepy eyes slowly. lorna and edward got a sleepy sara tucked in the bed and lorna turned off the lights and lorna left and edwardgave orders to watch over his little mate.
While all were in the living room, Edward started to speak, "My mate will stay here for a while, so to handle the 'animal'problem back at my castle. Danny, you and Johnathan go and get the prisoner prepared for trail and you two take care that Lord James is still alive when he reaches the castle, I wanr to hear his resoning for his actions toward my mate." nathanial came down from Lady Sara's room "my lord, your young mate is up and i wanting to leave this houe for her own," Edward gave a stern look to nathanial and replied "NO, I know she wants to go but she must stay here whereshe is now until I say she can leave"
the door leading to the outside was being opened by lorna and sara were getting out here and now, the women both got into a carriage that was already to go, the driver noticed the ladies and asked "where to my ladies ?" "take us to lady sara's country home for a good rest " The carriage headed out a sara and lorna relaxed while the carriage came to a stop at Saras house. "Thank you Tell his highnes that sara willrecover better at her own home, she's a reclusove peron" lorna told the driver who noddedand left to return to Lady Raven's home.
Meamwhile back at lady ravens hoouse...
"WHAT SHE;S GONE????"screamed Edward, all ravens flew up to their perches in fear and confusion. Nathanial came in from the outside, "My lord, the driver just told me that he had taken your mate back at her homestead where she will get better faster is what he told me" Edward calmed down t hearing that, "My ravens we go to my mates homestead." upon hearing that everyy one including lord Sebastion and lady Raven and dr.Dragon. When all parties had made it to ara hometead her home looked inviting to all so Prince Edward set his feet upon her doormat he could hear sara, lorna and what sounded like aanimal manageryinside.
KNOCK,KNOCK sounded on the door and lorna was the person who answered the door, "Sir Sara is busy with feeding all her pets that missed her" "what animals would that be, milady" "one dog, too many cats 20 head of black angus cattle"
Edward was astounded at the amount of creatures his mate cared for. "my lord, is this a zoo?""No, it is not. This is my familynow that my Sire and dame are dead." Edward nodded in understanding, "I see, my lady " Edward replied "my dear you are not yet ready to be out of your bed""Sir, I've learned that being busy really helps when one has been harmed." Sara said tiredly "Doctor help her to her room so that she will rest""Go on sara, I can finish up here" lorna
told her pushing her and dragon towards
her room, "Please make sure she rests and stay with her to make certain she does" Edward told Dragon "But,but" "But nothing you,my mate, to will rest" Edward helpe dragon with a struggling Sara Edward mentally put sara to bed,which sara was ore easily placed in a queen sized bed in her parents bedroom Edward stayed with sara while she rested.
Lorna, sebastion and the others sat in aras kitchen at the table. " I'm glad the prince came when he did. I was getting worried""How so my dear?""Sara wasa starting to feel that the sun was causing her a strange sickness, I mean she's healthu as a horse." Sebastion just softly chuckled"don't worry the prince will take care of Sara very well" Lorna sighed heavily; " I'm gonna go to my home, Sara will be too pooped to party I'm sure "
After Lorns left Edward came from the bedroom into the kitchen where the doctor and nicholas were drinking hot tea and coffee "Well,she is finaly asleep, where is the coffee?" Doc grabed the pot and poured edwsrd a cup. "How is your princess , my lord?" Edward sipped his coffee, "she is resting thank goodnes" "So what shall we do while your mate rests?" "I was thinking of making it more homey for the both of us, mabe a new kitchen, maybe a new bedroon with all the works."
nicholas stood up and streched his cramped muscles I think I'll go andhelp yhe ravens who are careing for the cattle.
