Yup yup, it's that time of year! Halloween, pumpkins, trick or treating, visiting a few cemetaries, and of course............Venue hunting for LBMN for 2008!



I love my new job. I'm working at a Wedding Magazine. I'm working hand in hand with the owner. Who gets to see every single location in this whole valley from the fuckin' greatest vantage point with a few event planners at my side? Hmmmm? I love my job!



We have locations to choose from that we never even thought we'd have before. It's not about the name of the hotel, it's so much more. I'm learning stuff everyday, and getting paid.



You know what else is cool, I go to work at Bridal Shows AND get paid for it. I get to see and speak with the vendors in a way that brides normally don't. I know many of them by first names, from hotel GM's to catering managers for private exclusive catering companies. I thank the Gods everyday for being lucky enough to be here.



There is also a little, well maybe a few surprises in store for next year. Daniel and I spoke with in person a lead singer of a band (I'm not telling) who would love to help us out, and a few other things. Tehehehe

Daniel had done a photo shoot with me, hense the masque picture above. We showed our friends, and my second mom, Nikki's mom let's me call her mommasharon. That means a lot to me.



Anyways mommasharon asked if she can design the invitations this year. Sure, of course. Truthfully it is one less headache to deal with. She emailed over some samples, and I was shocked! She used one of the pictures of me from the photo shoot as a basis for the invite.



Do you like it? she asked. Yes, but I didn't think I would be on the invites. But you're beautiful, she said. Everyone else agreed. Truthfully it is wierd, but they love it, and they are family. *shrug. I love mommasharons eye for details, so I trust her. She's really good at dark art, oh yeah.



How the hell did one photo shoot get me on the cover of our CD we are going to sell, AND the invites! People are going to say I'm full of myself,. Trust me, way wrong.



Daniel is VERY good at photography. We are thinking that maybe for xmas he'll get better photography stuff, he deserves it.
