Finally the heat has broken and it feels like everyones equilavent of spring time. My living room is too committed to the GIANT sofa section that Daniel brought home, so no room for dancing of any kind. *pout. Then the heat was too much too, then no time cause of planning for Nocturne.
Opening up the windows, moving furniture around, I made consciously a decision to make room for my pilattes (spelling, sorry) machine. Ahhhh I love that damned thing. Daniel told me that he found a sweet seat from our folding camping chair that he can stretch out and watch TV on the desktop. "Could I put in a DVD and watch it too? My dancing collection?" "Absolutely! You can even play it on the laptop and put it on the bed if you want."
Sweetbeans!!! I accidentally made enough room in my bedroom for both Belly Dancing and strip dancing! WOOHOOO! No way was I going to do the striptease dancing in the livingroom with my son there, but behind closed doors.....safe as safe can be. Or at least as safe as cable. ;)
Yes my Beloved bought me Carmen Electra's Strip Tease entire DVD colleciton and I'm twitchin' to get started again!
D, Requiem, lost so much weight as well as Scarlett, Shannon, that I'm determined to lose weight. I at one point lost 20lbs. Then WHAM! The ball was thrown and I was soooo stressed out that when I did eat, which was odd times, that it was anything I could get my paws on.
We'll be ready next year! And this year, I'm not only go to blow those 20lbs away AGAIN, but I'm going too....too.....*calming down and becoming rational.....to do my best.
Plus my group I meet up with "Goddess' of the Desert" they are interested in dancing as well. The more the merrier! Let's see what happens, but who knows. So dancing at home, dancing with friends, AND my pilates machine...HOLY SHMOLLY!!
Look out BABY! Mama's gonnna get her dress on come next year! I promise to keep a journal here, probably start one catagory just for that.
Why choose "Young Goddess" painted by Michael Linsner? Because she's cool? Hot? Well besides that.
At the ball Daniel took one look at me and told me that I looked exactly like this picture. Strange but true. We both knew secretly that the Goddess had been helping us with everything, and even probably guiding the stream of events to produce Nocturne.
But to look like her. Glancing into a mirror it gave me an eerie shudder. Knowing very well that it was as if she were looking back at me.
*shudder. If only words could explain. *sigh.
Sitting on the couch watching TV with my son, I hear the shouts of children outside, birds, and my windchimes singing. The smell of out door BBQ's perfume the air, cool weather has stayed here in our desert, finally. Blinds with heavy leather curtains make way for soft suns rays dancing with a crystal collection. My cats, Chalise and Seersha (saeiorse-Gaelic for freedom) are nestled in for the hunt of the day perched upon our windows ledge, over looking the very rare sprawling trees no more than a few feet away.
Peace, final complete blissful peace.
My soul is absolutely moved by this that I excuse myself into my bedroom where my beloved alter has finally been reset up. It's a humble thing, as is my life. Only my moms old 1800's sewing machine draped with an alter cloth Daniel had fallen in love with some years ago.
Sitting down with candlelight, incense and blissful deep breathing, my eyes finally give way to a flood of tears running down my cheeks with reckless abandon.
Tears of joy, tears of peace, tears of sweet surrender.
Daniel walks in from coming home, immediately he worries. Calming him I describe how grateful I am for this blissful quiet, Peace finally. He holds me, wiping away tears, replaces them with kisses.
With a whisk we are away grocery shopping. It doesn't seem like much but that trip was probably one of the best trips, don't know why but just is.
Thanks to the Gods and Goddess' for all their help, hope, love and support during the fall season.
Off we go for another year, "Onto the NEXT!"
