I miss you like a flower misses the rain,
The tiny droplets, engulfing my skin,
Sending pleasant sensations throughout the body,
A tingly feeling that brings shivers down my spine.
I miss you like a child misses their blanket,
The warmth you share as you wrap yourself around me,
Protecting me from life's bad memories,
The only place I could ever call a home, within you.
I miss you like the moon misses the sun,
Just barely catching a glimpse each passing day,
In hope for the rare occasion we can fully become one,
I give up those long days for the minutes I get to be with you.
I miss you like a queen misses her king,
Though he is off in battle, she keeps him close to her heart,
Supporting him in her thoughts, carrying on his legacy,
Knowing he will come safe, maybe not in this life, but the ones to come.
You are my king, Severus, and no matter where you are, no matter what you do, I will always love you.

Many moons have I walked alone
Nowhere to go, nobody to know
Holding my breath through an endless sea
The sharks can sense my fear to show
Many moons have I slept wearisom
All the seasons colors cannot replace the gray
I feel the emptiness overcome me
Knowing tomorrow is just another day
Many moons have I dwelled in deep thought
There must be something more to this life
Hot flashes, rough patches, agony and terror
The path I have walked was nothing but strife
Many moons have I looked up at the stars
Imagining my soul at rest
My love and my life ripped away
My heart put to the test
Many moons have I wandered aimlessly
Alas I was stumbled upon
My love, where have you been?
Life without you feels so wrong
Many moons have I been heartless
Yet I melt at the thought of him
The calling so strong, the calling so pure
Time will no longer be so grim
Many moons have I been frowned upon
Lies and deceit have fooled all those around
Torn and tattered, we stand strong
We still fight another round
Many moons have I longed his return
My love for him never ceased to burn
Their plans have failed, Their views destroyed
