The Pentagram is an ancient magical symbol that has been adopted by modern Witches as the symbol of our religion.A five-pointed star surrounded by a circle,the points stand for the four elements of earth,air,fire and water which make up all life.At the top is Spirit,the animating force of life.The circle represents the cycle of life,death,and rebirth with no beginning or ending .Its also an old symbol if magical protection.Witches usually do our magic inside the protection of a circle that has been cleared of harmful energies,usually by burning frankincense and myrrh inside the circles perimeter.

The Pentagram itself is a potent magical force, but combined with the forces of the four elements and of the spirit,it makes a powerful ritual for love or anything else.This spell will be done over the course of five nights ,or days.Actually,there is no reason you can't do it during the daytime, I just prefer working at night when it's quieter.Just try to do it at the same time each day,but don't worry if you can't.





You will need:



Five Votive candles,white,red,blue,Green and yellow.

Holder for the candles,clear glass or tinted in the colour of the candles.

Paper large enough to draw a pentagram of atleast ten to twelve inches in diameter

Red pen,marker,or crayon to draw the pentagram

Parchment paper and a red pen to write the spell.





Draw a pentagram in Red.When you draw the star ,dew is using one unbroken line,never lifting the pen from the paper.Dont worry if the circle is a little lopsided or the star is uneven but do the best you can.

Place the votive candleholders at each point of the star.Dont put the candles in yet.

Hold each of the candles between your hands,one at a time,and charge the candle with the proper incantation.Insert the candle in the holder , light it,and go on to the next one.Start at the top of the pentacle with the white candle and work clockwise.



[white candle] I charge you with the life of the spirit,that my spirit may be enriched with love,both giving and recieving.



[blue candle] I charge you with the power of water ,for healing power of love,understanding and compassion.



[red candle]. I charge you with the power of fire ,for loves passion.



[green candle]. I charge you with the power of earth,for stability and steadfastness in love.



[yellow candle]. I charge you with the power of air,for intuitive,imaginative power of love.



On the parchment and with red ink write your name and the following spell:



Spirits of earth,air,fire,and water crowned by spirit of Universal Live,I call upon you to bring me my true,perfect lover.

By your power we will be lovers and friends to each other ,sharing our happieness with the world around us.

This spell is done with harm to none.



Read the spell aloud and place it in the centre of the pentagram.If you need to fold it that's fine.

Let the candles burn as you close your eyes and concentrate on the joys of love.what love means to you,what you can offer a lover as well as a lover can offer you.You don't need to take a lot if time doing this but do give it some thought .

Don't try to picture a specific person:that limits your options.

For the next four nights,repeat the incantations as you light the candles and read the spell each night again.

On the first night start with water,the second fire,the third with earth and the fourth with air.Un other words your starting with a different element each time. After you've finished the entire spell on the last night,keep the written spell in a safe place untill your love comes a long .Then the spell has done its work and you can bun it as you do say this :
