Here I am, The ice queenI do resemble something from a dreamI look like something you’ve never seenThough I do wear white, of netting and silkSkin as pale as a cows milkWhite eyeliner covers my eyesI hold my heart that’s carved from iceMy eyes are as black as the nightBlack ribbons for hairEverything else is whiteI took a tablet, now I’m thawing outWhat’s happening? What’s this all about?I was locked inside, somewhere deepThe ice of my eyes melt, now I weepMy heart melts With every beat, my chest is in painI wont let myself feel heartbroken againI promised myself I wouldn’t again let myself weep or hurt, neverSo I became the ice queenI thought it would last foreverI look out to the nightI see the beauty of the city lightI was hidden inside for so longNow I’m crying, this is wrongI held my breath, to never breatheI then became the ice queenAll this grief I thought disappearedNow its returned as I fearedLetting it out, years of painNow its here, driving me insane Sobbing like never beforeI see their spirits around me soar
They are happy and in peace
