So..to get things started... the Amon Amarth / Children of Bodom show on wednesday... fucking kicked ass... like no other.



lets start off with the bands...



1st...



Sanctity....



they had an ok show... they sounded like an early metallica, they're american, from North Carolina.... they got wierd after they played a song about a bloody shit...



Gojira....



Gojira fucking kicked ass, I've only seen gojira once before, thats was on MTV's Headbangers Ball, a few saturdays ago... they had a good show, some good tunes, and got everyone pumped up.. a few assholes in the crowed we're being dicks and yelling boo, and screaming go back to mexico... fuck them, alot of kids that night were posers anyways, bunch of emos and screamo bitches.... Gojira is from France by the way....



Amon Amarth.....



THE MOUNTAIN OF DOOM.... needless to say, the Swedish heathens, need very few words to describe they're fucking show... FUCKING BRUTAL...... but I shall indulge with those reading this... you can always tell the true Amon Amarth fans, we were all packed into the place like sardines.... the pulse of the drums, the sway of us Minnesota Vikings... and then, the music, heads banging, people tossing fist in the air and pointing to the sky when valhalla or Oden or Thor is mentioned... people you don't know just walking up and hugging you because you have a Mjollnir on, just brothers, commrades in the same fight, as if we had a victory over an enemie... Arms around each other and just singing along with Johan and the crew... Pursuit of Vikings, AsaTor, Death in Fire, Runes to my Memory, the Fate of Norns, so on and so forth.... It was a very emotional show, Amon Amarth can envolve feeings in you, feelings that make you proud of your heritage, your ancestors, feelings of pride that you are a pagan. I don't want to say i was tearing up, but that night i felt something in me.. I know the gods are alive, and that night i think Thor himself was in the room... Nothing can compaire to Amon Amarth.... Ive been to alot of shows.... But the Mountain of Doom, toped them all.... By the way i had the swedish flag we hoisted it up for all to see, people helped to hold it high with pride....



last but not least...



Children of Bodom.......



Alexi "Wildchild" and crew, had a fucking brutal set, the whole place was a mosh pit, but by that time, i was exhausted from the Amon Amarth set.... Ive came to see what i wanted.... but anywho... the COB show, fucking rocked, annhilated everyone, and the show was over... lots of sweat, lots of moshing, lots of lights...the light were bright, blinding... but whatever, the show was worth it....



.......so the bands were doing autographs i steped out to get some air, the fucking bastards wouldn't let me back in, fucking pissed me off..... needless to say i can care less, Amon Amarth will be back in the summer..... and another thing, the girl i met in september's Celtic Frost show, i seen again, she just walked up to me and grabed my man tits and asked how ive been.... which is crazy since the last time she seen me, i had face paint on.... but we hugn out, when we was out side... a couple of the guys from Amon Amarth walked past us, i noticed them and immediatley took the opportunity to shake their hands and ask for a photo with them.... fucking right... they agreed, i got my minutes worth.... but next time... i shall have a photo with all, and the autographs......or maybe next time, my own band can open up for amon amarth..... that would be fucking brutal....

so. it comes down to this. the biggest show to me, is just but a 2 weeks away. Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom and Gojira.... this is going to fucking rock harder than when i went and seen the first concert tour Celtic Frost has done in over 16 years, back in september.. that was a great birthday present... but to see amon amarth... thats the trophy.. the intensity of the show, the passion, of the norse-mythos in every song.. amon amarth is truely a band ent by Oden himself to awaken the old world sences back into the hearts of its rightful people...
