I've been on a Poster Art buying spree. I have a lot of white walls in my bedroom that I just don't feel like painting or wall-papering so Poster Art it is.
I think I'm going to purchase some Nude Females/Sex/Porn Art.
The Nake Female Body is Art and Beauty to me and I'm a HUUUUUGE Fan of Beauty and Sex! ^_^
And we have returned to the Lair.
Where did I go?
- Treated my Son to a BBQ Lunch
- Purchased Poster Covers so I can start hanging up my artwork

- Purchased a replacement bulb for the spotlight in the Dungeon
- Dropped my Son off to the Barber Shop for grooming
- Purchased a replacement glass nail for one of my Dab Rigs

Tell Aaron I said Hi!!!! I agree with Dakotah, he looks like you a lot!
@Dakotah
It was delicious and yeah, I actually saw my father's face when he walked through the door. All the men in our family favor each other in some way.
@xxxPoisonIvyxxx...... He said, Hi!!! Thanks! ((Hugs))
I've always had an interest in art, beauty and the unique.
When I was 9 yrs old, my cousin introduced me to my first comic book. Ever!
It was a 'He-Man Masters Of The Universe' comic book. Opening it was like a bright light shining in my face from the pages of the book. So many colors! So much action! Then he showed me his comic book collection...Needless to say, I spent my entire visit with him reading all of his comics. My Aunt and Uncle would check in on us because we were so quiet. LOL!
When I left and returned home, I couldn't stop thinking of the new word that had been opened up to me. I mean I already LOVED cartoons, but usually had to wait to see them at their programmed time back then. There was no DVR'ing something. There was no internet. So to actually have cartoons in print form where I can read it anytime I chose was, to me, Awesome!
When I was 12 yrs old, I became consumed with painting those Black Velvet Paint By Numbers kits. I remember giving my 6th-grade teacher one as a 'thank you' for taking a special interest in me and my struggles to grasp Spelling and English as my Mother and Grandmother failed to grasp them themselves so I was being taught one way in school for a few hours and then returning home hearing very, very bad English spoken to me and me in return mirroring what I've been raised to say. How to speak. Needless to say that spelling was a real handicap. I was so bad at it that one 5th Grade Substitute Teacher told me to simply "spell it out as it is sounds". I'm not so sure that was the best advice to give a child without warning the child it won't always work though.
I remember choosing to be assigned to Basic Art Class in the 6th Grade as well. However, there was a schedule mix-up and I was placed in the Advanced Art Class. When I informed the teacher of the error, I was told to just remain and try hard. The first assignment was to draw something. Anything! So seeing murals on the wall of cartoon characters, I drew one. Apparently, I was "Gifted".
I got my first job at age 14. That source of income really jump-started my comic book collection efforts.
I continued my art studies until I graduated from HS. I even won an award at a local Arts Festival where one of my pieces was unknowingly entered into by my HS Arts Teacher and placed 2nd Place. She presented the 2nd Place Ribbon to me in which I still have today. I would have pursued Art in College, but like so many other kids from poor families who not only can't afford higher education, but is never even guided towards a possible Grant or Scholarship and other financial resources that could have helped with room and board and other living expenses while in school, so as many other kids from poor families, I joined the U.S. Military. One of the Best Life Choices I've ever made!
However, my love for Art and all things Beautiful or Unique in some way continued.
Here are posters I purchased recently. I'm going into town today to purchase frames or some other less expensive way to hang them throughout the Lair.
