Although it's only the primaries :(
Doesn't CA. have a shit ton of those delegates too that can break or make an election?
I do not undertand all that. Last time I was in States a few years ago My Roomy got a ballot in the mail and it was page after page after page.... LOL. Then he got this book with it on how to fill it out. 0.0 We get a little card we fill out to vote.
Luckyyyy! LOL!
So since I went to sleep early, I woke up early.
Started my day off with watching YouTube Videos and getting some laughs in to start off my day.
Then I paid some bills and updated my budget to know just how much Spending Cash I'll have for the entire month of August.
I think I'll survive. LOL!

Now just chillin in my bedroom and watching YouTube and WeedTube videos.
My Son is BBQ'ing and the rest of the family is enjoying some Pool Time.

Wow, we just got done with a BBQ, ribs, corn on cob, green beans, potatoes, on the grill. I was telling Lili how I ate too much and my belly is all stuffed. See, us brown people can BBQ, too. We make our own sauce and marinate the ribs over night in beer.
We are greatfull for brother Mogy
Group hug
Brother Mogy is grateful for both of you

I have an idea for a new thread in the Happiness section. If you approve I will call it Useless Projects ( for humor title). This thread will be where we get to place our home projects for all in the coven to tell us how awesome we are being awesome handimen! For example when you work on your yard making it more awesome and I do lots of home projects. Recently, I am restoring the fireplace in my family room. Also, I am building a bar, working on my yeard.... yes, I have power tools! And we could post pics of the progress! Sound good?
That 1st Sauna Sesh put me to sleep so I have about a quick 45-minute nap, now to take the kids to get enough food to last them until my Son gets paid.
So I actually completed a total of 4 Sauna Seshes yesterday. Wow!
Time to start my daily routine of working on my health, learning something new, ensuring my family is doing well while they are still adjusting to their new Cali location, play and care for Bandit and making sure everything major is in proper working condition around the Lair.

Them: Ok
Me: (Pulling up to Popeye's parking lot and get's a phone call from my Son)
Son: Dad, are you dressed to get out of the Hummer or are you just staying in?

Son: Dad, it sounds like you woke her up.

I find it odd at just what annoys some people.
It's actually humorous to some degree.
So if older people are watching YouTube content made by younger people, why would someone find that disturbing?
I mean, it's just like Cable T.V. shows, programs, sitcoms, etc., etc. So how old were your Parents or Grandparents when they stopped watching T.V. because of their age?
Fuck Out Of Here With That Shit!
Then there are the Blogs of those writing Fiction while yet claiming it is Non-Fiction for whatever reason, (i.e. mental issues or to simply piss off those they know it annoys.)
So that means every Blogger that posts Fiction claiming it is ALL Real Life Events annoys others so much that you want to just attack the Blogger for lying or living in and sharing THEIR own fantasy world, not harming anyone, while it is YOU that is reading THEIR Blogs?
That's like someone coming into my home and being annoyed at how I've chosen to decorate it.
Why allow it to annoy you. Just Get The Fuck Out and continue to Live Your Beliefs and Best Life!

You have such sights to show us??? Bring on the horror, Mogy!!!
hehehe
Well, the Universe and Positive Karma aligned everything so that the failing parts and labor for the a/c units totaled only $250.
That's much better than the almost $3,000+ that could have been required if things were worse.
The Lair is nice and cool once more and all is well in Bakerland.
Even with my Grandson and his Terrible 2's Syndrom. He's in his 2nd Time-Out for the day and it was prior to 8 a.m. smh! That kiddo! LOL!
Update:
Luckily, it's not so hot today. It's a little overcast.
Both a/c units are still working and the Lair is cool.
I scheduled someone to take a look at them, but he won't be available until early tomorrow morning.
$100 to perform the diagnostic and then the cost goes up from there based on the problems discovered.
I'm so blessed to have funds available on my credit card, but Dayum!
Oh well, such is life.
Things could be a lot worse.
Imagine living on the street in this California heat.
Update:
So I woke up and went outside to look at the a/c unit in which the fan had stopped working.
I went to sleep hoping that it was simply an overheating issue and having it off throughout the night would give it a chance to cool down and work later.
I turned the unit on and can hear the fan wanting to spin, but it wouldn't. So I stuck something into the unit to push start the fan and.........It Worked! The unit is working again!!!

Yeah, Bro, definitely need a technician out here.
So when my family moved in, Son, GF (Daughter), 2-yr old boy (Grandson w/full-blown terrible 2s syndrom),
10-month old girl (1st and only Bio-Grandchid), my Son took his old room upstairs on my floor, they gave their 2-year old Son the Guest Bedroom, and my Daughter (Son's GF) sleeps on a pull-out bed in the Family Room since the Baby's Sleep/Playpen is too large for the Guest Bedroom so the Baby and Mother slees in the Family Room.
Now, knowing that the majority of the family and Bandit will be downstairs, I told my Daughter back when she arrived that she had control of the 1st floor a/c panel.
1st, I noticed that down stairs was always much cooler than upstairs.
2nd, I noticed that one of the a/c panel never shut off.
So I would go downstairs, see that the a/c panel is in the "On" position and I would change it to "Auto" and explain to my daughter that it should stay on the "Auto" position so that it turns off once the desired temperature is achieved which also conserves energy.
This was done twice.
Then, one time I could feel the upstairs getting warmer. After investigating, I discovered that the a/c panel upstairs had been set to 'Heat'. When I asked my Son had he done it by mistake, he said, "No" and that it was warmer the night before even. Now, I confess to having over shot the "Off" setting and accidently left it in the "Heat" setting and giving it a minute or two thinking it would finally shut off and then realizing that it was taking too long only to notice that I went too far right from the "cold" setting, bypassing the "off" setting and accidentally left it on the "heat" setting once or twice, but I always caught it. I don't even think I get that medicated to turn my a/c unt to 'heat' and notice that the unit hasn't turned off.
I live on a Pension so I'm always monitoring "Utility Cost".
Then early yesterday, the Lair just seemed unusually warm after I got out of the Sauna expecting to cool down.
Then I notied that the 2nd floor a/c panel was reading an inside temperature of 81 degs. Heat may travel up, but most homes with attics have heat trapped up there after the sun heats the roofs and causing the 2nd floor to be warmer during the Summer than the 1st floor.
I checked the a/c panel and it was set to "Cold' and "Auto" and air was coming out of the vents, but not as cool as it should be.
I went downstairs and checked that a/c panel and it was set to "Cold", but once again set to the "On" position and the 1st floor temperature was reading 80 degs and air was coming out of the vents, but not "cold" air.
I once again reminded my daughter that the a/c panel should remain on the "Auto" setting since keeping it in the "On" position would stress the unit and waist energy.
However, the Lair still wasn't cooling off.
The 2nd floor a/c panel was still reading 81 degs, and 1st floor a/c panel was still reading 80 degs.
First, I thought someone had jacked up the settings so I ensured both units' settings were correct.
I thought I felt cooler air coming out, but then it just reverted back to what felt like fan air.
I checked the a/c units outside and one was really working overtime with air blowing out of it harder than usual and the other unit, well, it wasn't even running.
COMMENTS
wow that is alot of money
*tips toes by my 4-year-old a/c and whisper, get the BEST warrenty too Bro* Last time I replaced mine in this old old old house, well, I was adding rooms on too, cost was $9,000.
I'm so thankful my Son relocated his family here. No one else that I know of could have taken them in and made them feel as comfortable as they say they feel at the Lair with all of its amenities.
Also, the trip to get his family here this month took a HUGE chunk out of his Monthly Military Compensation Payment for July and knowing how pride can get in the way at times, I made sure when we all went grocery shopping that I purchased more food than I usually do for myself so that when the food they purchased with what funds they had left ran out, I can share my food since I portion control anyways. So if I prepare my family pack of 8 pork chops, I'll take 3 and leave them 5 and it's just good to know my kids and Grandkids aren't in shelters or staying with family members who are already struggling or already have a home full of people.
Yeah, I'm happy they're safe and comfy. ^_^

Just returned from being in town.
These town folks are probably wondering why they've seen so much of me lately when it's really a rare occasion I drive into town.
But when there are kids, one finds themselves always running out of this and that. LOL!
COMMENTS
How is the litttle one settleing in now? When my Brother moved closer with the kids and the kids would come over they act out at first till they began to settle in to the changes. I am sure the first week all the times out he was getting was his issue too.
The 2 year old still gets in trouble...Daily! All....Day!
However, when he's just with me, I pay him a lot of attention and it seems to calm him down.
The 10 month old is just happy to be here. I've rocked her to sleep about 5 times now.
Blessed! ^_^

I'm sorry people cant forgive each other over such childish games with in your major alliance.
@Reaper, well, forgiveness is a gift that one gives to themselves and to others, but sometimes it's a bit harder to give it to others that one feels doesn't deserve it.
To me, forgiveness simply means I'm not going to actively attempt to cause that individual harm.
That could also consitst of my not wanting to have anything more to do with that individual because just their presence reminds me of what I obviously can't forget since I don't have amnesia.
So if they are not messing with you anymore, maybe they forgave, but they'll never forget without amnesia.
My Wi-Fi Mesh System arrived today and so far is working pretty good.
Spectrum gave me two Wi-Fi SSIDs and then the Mesh System created a 3rd one so I have my own, the kids share the other two.
Weird setup, but it's working so far. LOL!
What a day!
Started off with cleaning the swimming pool and the kitchen while the kids took care of their kids, but my Son did assist me with some heavy lifting as I moved my swing frame that I may scrap.
Then I tried to relocate the ROKU Streaming device to the older model T.V. in the Family Room and it was a total fail. It had no HMDI Port. I even went out and purchased an HMDI Adapter to go from HMDI to 3 RCA Audio Video AV Cable Cords since the older model T.V. only had RCA Ports. Well, the damn thing didn't work at all.
I have (had) 5 perfectly working T.V.s, however, only the Flat Screen in the Theater Room is a newer model with the HMDI Port, but the kids are kept downstairs since that's their area as well as a No Smoking Zone. So now I have a total of 6 T.V.s of which 2 of them are newer Flat Screen Models. Yup, broke down and just purchased a new one. I mean fuck, I don't even watch Cable, but now I have a Cable Streaming Service and a new Flat Screen T.V., but a small sized one. Why go big when they won't be here past a year?
Whatever to make the kids feel comfortable as they go through the stresses of building a life in an new state.
My Son had to print out some forms to get his Daughter in the military dependant system, but my printer was out of ink and ink is hella expensive in some office type stores. Well, I got a tip to just check on Amazon and buy off their. Sure enough, it was cheaper. A lot cheaper than in the stores. However, my Son needed to print his documents before Monday. So I drove him over to his friend's house and the Mom insisted that I come in. *Sighs* Nice lady, home and conversation though.
Well, after all of that, I treated myself to two new Vaperizers that I will show off in one of my upcoming videos.
Now it's time for another Sauna Sesh. Only my 2nd one of the day though. I won't get 3 in, but on more positivve news, I yet again broke out of the 220's and weighed in at 219 lbs. Sweet!
There may be typos, but fuck it, I'm too tired to proof read. LOL!
BBQ'd, spent time in the pool with the kids, and now just rocked my Granddaughter to sleep.
Yup, truly Blessed!
So my Wi-Fi is now choppy since multiple devices are drawing from it.
However, just to be sure that is the problem, I had a service guy come out and he said my Modem/Router Combo was out dated and they are now going back to the split where there will be two devices. The Modem and a sepearte Router.
Ummmm....This is the 21st Century Spectrum. WTF?
I was told it's easier to service when they're not combined. Huh?
But due to the size of my home, the number of people and devices NOW drawing on the WiFi, I'll need some sort of Wi-Fi Mesh System.
I did purchase a WiFi Repeater Web Server Booster for like $13.00. Utter TRASH! But, you get what you pay for.
So I'll be picking up the Mesh thing from a Target if they have one.
Also, running into issues with restoring Cable for my family's entertainment. I've been without Cable Service for years, but they all can't watch shows and t.v. programs from laptops as that's how I watch my shows and content.
Apparently I have a Streaming Service I just paid for and thought I need Top Boxes only to discover that I need something called a ROKU. SMH!
So until these issues get resolved, choppy Wi-Fi and no Cable for them is how we're living.
I have to travel into town to obtain Cable Top Boxes for the fams"s entertainment options.
They're in the pool and I'm in the Sauna.
Living our Best Lives.
I've rocked my 10-month-old Granddaughter to sleep...Twice!
Truly a blessing.
We enjoyed our little road trip today and upon our return, I started my Sauna Seshes and they jumped in the swimming pool.
I played with Bandit and now I'm resting having just completed Sauna Sesh
Well, 7 days straight the 2 year old starts his day off misbehaving, getting disciplined, yelling and crying.
The 10-month-old is just happy to be here. Always reaching out from her playpen for someone to hold her.
The Parents are holding strong, but you can see the stress of parenting wearing them down so they go on family walks or find other ways to de-stress and renew their energy. I've even offered to watch the Grands while they do some one-on-one Bonding which is VERY important. Parnets should never forget that they were Friends and Lovers before they were Parents and should always make time to keep the flames burning.
I'll be driving the family onto the nearest Marine Corps Base, the first Fleet Marine Base I was stationed to after completing my Military Occupation Schooling, to look for fair deals on a vehicle. I was stationed there twice and decided to retired about 30-45 minutes away.
I went downstairs to say Goodmorning and my Granddaughter reached out to me so I picked her up and we did some bonding in my rocking chair until she fell asleep in my arms. Such a little sweetheart.
I went outside and gave Bandit some bonding too. I don't want him to feel replaced or anything. LOL!
On another note, I'm going to allow myself to go into a little debt that I'll pay off early next year and treat my Daughter, her two Boys and my kids' younger Sister to a trip out to SOCALI for one of the holidays. It will also give them a chance to get a feel for Cali and determine if they wish to relocate here too. My hopes is to help as many family members as I can to relocate near me if that's what they choose to do. Sorry not sorry, but Florida just isn't it!
So my 2 yr old Grandson, who is turning into the King of Time Out is allowed to ride his motorized car and warned by his Dad to stop trying to run into Bandit........then Runs into Bandit!
WTF Kiddo?!
Bandit is fine. He's upstairs with me now and the little one is....yup...Back in Time Out. smh!
So now I've gone from a Solitary Journey to one of assisting my Son to "Re-Launch" back into Independency with his family of 3 consisting of his GF, 23 yrs old (He's 24 yrs), her Son (now "their" son since before he was born), 2 yrs old, and their Daughter (my first Bio-Grandchild), 10 mos old.
My Son's oldest Sister, my former Step-Daughter now Surrogate Daughter who I refer to as just my Daughter is 26 yrs old and she has given me 2 Grand-Sons, 6 yrs old and 3 yrs old.
Serenity is in the Yellow Zone, but holding steady regardless of my Grandson displaying the Terrible Twos which includes fits of screaming, saying no, hitting, not listening, etc. etc., and sporadic crying from my Granddaughter, but mostly as sweat as pie she's sooooooo adorable. Always reaching up to me to be held and amused.
As soon as they are ok with posting pics and publishing recordings of their kids, I will.
They landed Tuesday. The travel went well for the hour drive to pick them up at the airport.
On a scale from 0 being "Drama Free" to 10 being "Bat-Shit Crazy Drama", the process of retrieving them, the Grands and their luggage was about a 2.
The hour trip back home, taking into consideration that I had to pull over once to allow my New Daughter to vomit due to Car Sickness, I'd give it a 1.
So far so good overall. I've had the "Parent" talk with both of them and it was very productive and everyone is as comfortable as they are allowing themselves to be.
We've enjoyed shopping where of course Grandad had to spoil the Grandkids with a Motorized Car for my Grandson, a High Chair for my Granddaughter, an Indoor Bounce House with Balls and a larger Castle Bounce House for Outdoors with Balls and Basketball Hoop, a Double Occupancy Stroller for my Son and Daughter for family outtings, Burger King, Domino's Pizza, then Grocery Shopping, BBQ Ribs, Grilling Burgers and Sausages and Shrimp on the BBQ Grill, Backyard Swimming Pool fun and on Monday, my Son wants to search for him to buy himself a Car.
PRIORITIES
1. Transportation
2. Employment (In addition to his Monthly Military Medical Compensation) so yes, he is already receiving income.
3. Medical & Dental
4. Housing
They have been given 6-12 months to re-launch themselves back into Independency.
The first 3 months at Dad's will be Rent Free, however, Oct 1st and beyond will be only $250 per month to off-set increased utilities expenses.
Lastnight, I felt the aftershocks while upstairs of an Earthquake 3 hours North of me, but the kids say they felt nothing at all while downstairs. I think they'll do quiet well in California. LOL!
I was awakened by knocking on my bedroom door around 6:30 a.m. It was my 2 year old grandson that had woken up, snuck out of bed, made his way upstairs and woke me.
I took him back to his parents.
He made his way back to my room.
I took him back to his parents.
Later today, I transferred the saftey gate from my USMC Musuem and placed one to prevent him from making it to the 2nd floor and showed my Daughter how to place it between the bedroom door frame to prevent him from getting out and then other areas to limit his wondering.
So my Solitary Lifestyle is on pause for now, but seeing my kids mature into parents that are open to taking advice and tips on becoming more Independent as well as on raising their kids, keeping them safe while in the Lair, keeping to the designated No-Smoking area which is the Family Room which I have also made as safe for Infant and Toddlers within acceptable standards, is a Blessing and VERY Humorous. LMAO!!!
Well my family is here and will be living with me between 6-12 months while getting all settled in.
The one hour drive to the airport and then back home went smoothly.
Time to do what I do daily! ^_^
Before I was yet a teenager, I had started to spend every dollar I was given on comic books.
I have over a thousand now.
It was more than the art work that caught my interest it was also the story lines and how they always tried to teach a Life Lesson or Program the reader to make Positive Life Choices.
This of course was prior to more Darker and Occult like comics catching my attention as well.
However, even those taugh Life Lessons as well.
But I think the most profound comic script that laid a foundation for shaping my personality was found in a Might Thor comic when he was praying to his Father, Odin.
He said this prayer and I've lived by those words every day of my life since I was about 8 years old, even though I don't pray to a God.
COMMENTS
I liked Spider-Ham. lol
Thousand only? I thought you'd be richer than that!
Why do people still get annoyed when they call you and you're not available to answer their call?
I mean just because technology has made communication more mobile doesn't mean I'm going to tie the damn things to my hands and ears. LOL!

AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE...
'CAUSE, MOGY SAID SO!

I will go a day or 2 sometimes before I check my phone...lol

I love that you do this, Brother. When I get back to work , a full pay check again, I think I am going to do this in my family for the kids.
