He flew to where they had taken her. It was a top secret medical facility. He was well aware of the things that went on behind the secure doors and the white walls. Some nights if he listens hard enough, he can even hear the screams. He’s never cared for human affairs, but this time it was personal. They had captured her while she was sleeping during the day. She was not yet powerful enough to walk in the light of day. The scream he heard while feeding that night was recognized among the hundreds of others and he heard it not with his heightened vampire hearing, but more like in his head or better yet his soul, if a soul is still what he possessed. He some how felt he would be too late. He flew over the high wall protected with razor wire, armed guards and dogs. He cared less for the security cameras and the motion detectors. Lord MOGY was here for her and he was bringing death to all that stood in his way. His feet barely touch the ground in front of the steal entrance doors and all hell broke loose. When he located her 13 levels below ground, he was covered with blood. Not a drop did he choose to drink out of thirst or hunger. He completely leveled the compound and killed everyone that was not wise enough to flee. There she lay. The most advance equipment known to man was in this room. It seemed they were experimenting on her. Needles and all type of equipment surrounded her, but not anymore. The humans in this room were reduced to nothing more than charred bodies, or pieces thereof, and blood. He stared at her for what seemed like forever. She was clothed in all white. Her eyes still closed as if she was sleeping. At first he thought someone had come back to fight more, but he then realized that the faint noise he heard was indeed a heart beat, but it was coming from her. His heart had long ago ceased to beat. Her heart hadn’t beaten since she had begged him to turn her. She wanted to be like him. She wanted to be with him forever. But here she was laying there with a beating heart. How? Her eyes slowly opened. They were not all black, or all red or all gold or any of the mood colors their eyes have been known to change to. They were…human eyes! He wept crimson tears. The humans had some how unlocked the mystery to turn vampires back to their human form. But his tears were not because of that discovery, but because the process wipes the memory clean. When humans are given the gift to become vampire, their memories remain, but this process was like that of wiping a computer’s memory drive clean and rebooting it. She was not the same woman he knew anymore….
