I try and be a good listener for my friends, but I sometimes need someone that I can also turn to.

I am blessed with such a friend. We met about ten years ago at Uni, I was doing a diploma and she had just finished her first degree. So much younger than me but yet so wise, never telling you what you want to hear but just telling you ‘how it is’. She says she got that from me ..but refined it. lol

Just recently I asked my friend about someone that use to be so close to me and I said in a melancholy way...

''I thought she'd always be here''



And my friend answered....



‘‘She is.''

I can't believe the weekend turned out so warm, only to find that today we are back in the mid 60's.

I met a friend earlier today, we met at the sea front and we had coffee and hot mini donuts before taking a stroll.

I needed to clear my head and relax.

The sun was up and initially it felt warm, but as the breeze picked up you could feel the chill just take the edge of the warmth, this was a sure sign that we are in autumn.

Soon we will seek the flocks of various bird life migrating, which will be a great sight, I must remember my camera.

I have just finished giving my BLOODLIFE profile a complete going over. Now for this one, I have so many ideas that I tend to get ahead of myself.

I have enough material for three different types of profiles but I keep changing my mind to which theme to use.

I just came away from Joli's last entry, where the hell does she get that type of inspiration?!!

You have to go and read it, it's in her poetry section under 'Exhalations' ... infact, don't stop at her last entry, set a little time aside and just wander through her entries, I swear you wont be disappointed.



I use to think that inspiration came with experience and/or a muse.

If these are her life's echos then is all I can say is 'WOW'. I'm aware that the sad bad times can also inspire but i'm just grateful to find this gem among so much rough that's on the net these days.

I've never been one for quizzes but my daughter asked me to take this test yesterday and we both came up with the same result.

I spent the weekend with The Coven of Nocturnal Felinity. I have never done anything like that before and it really was fun.

It's always a giggle to see how other CM's communicate with members and run their covens. I initially thought I would come away with some new ideas, which I did, but I also came away with a plethora of friends ... one or two who I know will become very close.

I do hope I put something back into this wonderful coven, it would be nice to think I left my mark.



We were entertained to a great reception on arriving (such great members, you will hear me echo this throughout) we had the infamous 'Execution' oh what fun, we elected to have a virtual member hanged. lol ... if only it were that simple in real life. lol

I had the pleasure of attending an online wedding, the celebration was perfect as was the beautiful bride, Jamie. The groom looked very smart too and with all the goings on still played the superb host.



I had the most perfect ballroom dance with the most perfect partner *cough* which was followed by champagne at 'the' bar .... so many bars and fun houses to choose from...

This perfect partner is nothing short of 'WOW'.



Then it was carriages at midnight for our return home, but because I was a little tipsy I stayed over till this morning. lol



I thank everyone involved including my wonderful CM for seeing to it to let me leave in the first place.

Lifeblood, you wonderful man! You were in company with 5 HG's selected for the ACE AUGUST WEEKENDER, and my God, what fun we had with your bright light amongst us!



I am glad for One that you sampled The Bat Cave, The Sultry Persian Pub, The Blues Bar, and of course The Midnight Masquerade Ballroom, where you danced the virtual night away with one our our 'star' Hellcat Ladies, and yes indeed, this Lady was taken by you!



You are a good man, full of fun and quick-witted, an excellent nature and I am now proud to know you as a friend!
