I've been blocked TWICE now. First one? Sabrefang...and he blocks EVERYONE. The second one?? A total surprise!
A lady called Tasha.
She has a profile pic (attractive woman) and then this:

I rated her a 7. My rating system is on my profile and normally? I would have rated a 5. She is a premium member and can see all ratings. I only upped it because it was much more than the typical paragraph that usually is attached to such blank profiles. And...although it is definitely a run on paragraph with no break for the eyes...even when changing subject matter...I felt that for the extra time she took to tell us that she's non-judgmental and easy to get along with (hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha), I'd up it 2 points.
Apparently? Not good enough. Blocked! Like I'd been harassing her. Blocked! Like she had some weird ass vendetta. 7/10. 70%. B. Good.
Apparently she feels I should have given her a 10. And if not, I should have rated her profile by chasing her down and discussing with her the merits and lack thereof contained in her one paragraph, self picture file. I went back today..and in a moment of pettiness, rerated it the 5 it should have been according to my own ratings rules.
I'm quite unsure where she thought a 10/10 would have been on that profile? The exquisite use of the English language? The knowledge of subject matter that endeavoured to teach us all about the important topic of Tasha? The beautiful photographs or artwork that gave us a glimpse into her soul? She even admits that the profile is banal and boring to HERSELF...and HELL..it's ABOUT her :) There was no insights, no talented webwork, not much of an effort....I couldn't go 10! PERFECT profile.
These 9.85 profiles that are rampant now in the Rave are caused from superfluous 10's. They aren't perfect and something to be aspired to. They don't even catch your eye with an interesting tidbit.
I find it hysterical though...as easy to get along with / nonjudgmental as she is (or says she is...)...she decided to block me because of a good rating. Not an excellent rating. A good rating. Probably in an effort to damage my levelling? She told someone that it was because I rated her profile without speaking to her. (I was unaware that a profile rate was a judgment for or against the person who wrote it!) She, however, instead of asking why a 7...or putting in her profile that she will accept only 10's..anything else needed an explanation from the rater...simply blocked.
I thought about giving her a 10 to just get the stupid block off of me. But? Then I'd be really as guilty as her about being overly sensitive about....well what she thought of ME. After all, laugh...she has never spoken to me...and now?? Never will :)

That drives me nuts,it isn't like you rated her a 1 and left rude comments. you gave her a 7 when you usually leave a 5. I blocked somebody once. It wasn't the rating or the rude comments. She kept doing it. I got permission, from my coven master. The girl was cyberbullying 13 year old , told him he was pathetic. I blocked her for three days , she stopped being a biddy and I unblocked. She was harassing. When I get rated I send a thank you personally. Even people who give me a 1, I find being gracious you get alot farther in life.

did you leave her a reason why you gave her a 7? there are some people that prefer you to tell them why you have rated what you rated them.
