I found another picture of Alaina and one of me. We both have different personalities and characteristics but always have that same, cautious, but determined twinge in our thoughts and actions.
When I see Alaina's picture, I see a 17-year-old girl named Elizabeth who feels she has no need for help or company, but always subconsciously wants it without showing it to anyone. She thinks it is often considered a sign of weakness. She has a neutral personality that says "I don't care about who you are or what you think but get in my way and your dead". She absolutely refuses help even when she knows she needs it. Elizabeth always seems to try to keep everything to herself without ever letting others know what's really going on in her life, because it worries her to think what others might try to do. She didn't ever like attention, but when she is really hurt, Elizabeth will tell others to go away, but she really wants them to stay and talk with her, and to comfort her. She will not resort to violence unless something or someone has been taken against her will. When Elizabeth is angry, she tends to use her anger and rage to protect those she loves and destroy those she hates.
My picture shows a 15-year-old boy named Kyran who is searching for something important to him but can never seem to find it. He is always sly with his actions with his sharp tongue prepared, ready for anything. Kyran is equipped with sheer determination, and cares about those around him, but doesn't usually show it because to him, and Elizabeth alike, it is a sign of weakness. His personality says "I don't care what happens as long as I get what I want/need," But he always adds under his breath "and that those that I love are not to be hurt in the process." He will not tolerate any form of betrayal and will deal with it immediately and appropriately. He does not like to be violent so he resorts to stealth if possible rather than open combat.
Kyran and Elizabeth are directly related as brother and sister. They both have a vampiric edge and suspect their parents as vampires as well. They both enjoy each others' company although they get annoyed with each other easily. However, They share a special bond that can never be broken, not even by death. There is no way to totally separate these two as they will fight to the death and beyond for each other, and neither of them ever forget that.
I cannot find better fitting pictures for either of us, like we were born for them, and they were made for us. We are them. They are us. As Alaina said, "It's you and me against the world."
