So, my profile does explain my purpose and what I intend to get out of my experiences here (or at least I hope so :P), but it doesn't say much about me as a person does it?



Just so you can paint more of a person to me than a faceless researcher, I'll go into my story a bit here. It isn't a terribly exciting one though, so don't hold your breath for anything!



As I said in my profile, I'm a student attending DePaul University of Chicago. I am pursuing a Bachelors in Game Design under the programming branch. And because of this, I am here of course. I am to, along with other members of my team, seek out an online community and understand how it works more or less.



Oh, and as I mentioned in my profile, you don't have to worry about misuse of your personal information. I have taken the standard IRB training course and will be absolutely sure to both protect and keep it confidential.



Going back to me again, I am also quite a bit of a gamer myself. I enjoy mostly games of yesteryear though, typically SNES or NES games. My all-time favorite is EarthBound for the SNES, so definitely let me know if you share the same. :D



Anyway, this is quite enough for a first entry!
