If home is where the heart lies,
Then here isn't home,
If hearts had wings,
Then mine would roam.
If love were true,
It would last forever,
If truth existed,
Then it would endeavor.
If eyes could tell a secret,
Then a soul could say a lot,
If memory never faded,
Then nothing would be forgot.
Surrounded by people,
But somehow alone,
This life has begun,
The die has been thrown.
I am forever falling,
Into a bright darkness,
Consumed by fire and water,
Seeing human faceless.
I've traveled a distance,
Into a dark light,
Letting wind and earth take,
What is not in my sight.
Come with me together,
To surround the full moon,
Speak your feelings clearly,
Dawn approaches soon.
Hide your longing face,
Within rain-filled clouds,
Look deep into Time,
And hear repetitive sounds.
Leave nothing behind,
Let no memory fade,
Look for lost love,
Where hatred has laid.
Hold the stars in your hands,
Bathe in the oceans below,
Take the sun for a crown,
And your spirit as your bow.
Fear nothing but fear,
Until you're not afraid,
Be angry at nothing,
Good feelings be inlaid.
The petals of a rose are as life's design,
Emotions and events within it entwine,
Crimson as blood it entreats a desire,
Full of passion that engulfs the senses in sweet fire.
The petals of a rose ensnare the mind,
And thorns construe and tightly bind,
As life often does with no remorse,
If left alone it shall run its own course.
The petals of a rose capture the heart,
Full of beauty and love that does not depart,
For it loves life in all that it knows,
And life loves the petals of a rose.
