So last night as I was driving home and chatting on the phone with one of my Ole time military friends, off to the side of the road was a huge 8 point buck that scared me out of my wits. I was like "oh shit" thinking it was going to hit my car, my new jeep that is only 6 months old. Nope. It stared at me as I drove by and I breathed a sigh of relief. Trust me, I cannot begin to tell you how many dead deer I see on the side of the road when I drive.

Yay!! I'm finally getting wintry precipitation in my area. The last time we had some was in 2018.

We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
