Before you start even thinking about what to spit back at me, hear me out: Religion fucks with our brain. Why? Its simple.
A scenario: Say you have a religion that calls upon you worshiping some form of god. Say you know within you heart, soul, and mind that your god(s) is/are the only to exist. Okay, fine. Dandy... Now let's say someone else with diffrent religious views feels the same way about their god(s). There is the problem. If one is right, the other is wrong and is being fucked over by their own faith. Hell, They could both be wrong. And all those people worshiping, and dedicating themselves to their religion, have nothing to show for it.
At this point, I'm scared to have faith in anything...

Having faith in something one cannot see or hold is no less frightening than the faith people have in an electronic device they hold in their hand made by asian children, or the make up one wears in the efforts to not look like who they really are, or even the daily efforts to not act like themselves around other people. The god I believe in, loves me, for me, so long as I try to be a good person. That is a faith worth having. Better than trusting in a world that teaches you to be enjoy something you might not want to enjoy.
