Something that annoys me when someone is sick or passes away: people are saying they're sorry to that person's friends when they go.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the friend just lost someone, but that's nothing compared to the person who died or that person's parent.
Today, at 8:45AM, a friend of mine passed away. I think I'm sad, but I am not sure. I will miss her. But I don't want someone to say they're "sorry", because it pisses me off.
A parent should never have to bury their child, as such, condolences should be payed to them.
I will not mourn loss, but celebrate the life they had.

Offering condolences is all well and good - to the right people.
"I'm sorry" seems to be apologising for the loss, but that never made sense to me, unless you're the one that killed them, and in that case, it's woefully unacceptable.
It's confusing. I'm the same way. It's annoying. Annoyingly confusing.
