To add, the friend that dropped off the face of the earth is not dead apparently, as evidenced by a sudden text message "Hey how are you doing"
There are million clever replies that crossed my mind, but in the end silence wins out. I won't be replying to this jerk.
To wig or not to wig?
My braiding skills are ridiculous. And my hair is thin, so my twists are teeny-tiny on big sections of hair. (Not as thin as when I had the relaxer/perm-whatever you call it.) But wash n go's require constant de-tangling of constant knots. So maybe if I wear my twists under a wig until I get more length...but would this defeat the purpose of going natural? Wigs + wig caps are protective as long as I keep hair underneath clean and moisturized, right? Plus, with wigs, I get color with the damage of the dyes...
Big decision.
Not for very long, it turns out. New friends do not stick around.
In other news,I spent all week being nervous about a school assignment that only took me 10 minutes to complete.
