Twas A Vampire At Christmas
Twas a vampire at Christmas
and all thru the brood,
not a creature was stirring,
for they'd all be good food.
All the capes were hung
by the chimney with care
In the hope that Dracula
soon would be there.
Then what to my
wondering ears should asound,
A limosine in black
and speakers, pound pound.
A little old driver
so agile and stout,
I knew in a moment
Dracula was about.
And more rapid than ghosts
his presence did come
Up the wall he climbed
to him it seemed fun.
And so up to the housetop
this creature it flew,
with teeth at the ready
ready to sink into you.
Down the chimney he came
with a leap and a bound.
He was dressed all dark
and his eyes were round
No one needed to hark,
but went straight to his work.
He bit all the necks
then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger
against his lips,
then with a grin
up the chimney he blips
And I heard him exclaim
as he drove out of sight
"Merry Christmas to all
and to all a Good Bite".
