It just dawned on me that Jack is a week old, today. Right now he's flopped out in mom's chair watching Spongebob. I was flipping through the channels and he stopped fussing when the show popped on the screen. Newborns can only see clearly about a foot in front of them. Something about Spongebob sure got his attention, though. Go figure.
Jack finally gave his old man a break and took a nearly 4 hour nap in mommy's chair this morning. Yes, those are socks on his hands. He tends to scratch himself on the face a lot.
...he is not. Well, let me clarify, Jack is nocturnal, the little shit. Slept all day, now won't give daddy a moments peace. He's grounded. :-)
That said, Khayman is back home and so is the little munchkin. I'd forgotten what a handfull an infant can be. Especially one that wiggles as much as this one. Anyway, she's fine and recovering on schedule I suppose. Jack met Mr. Mobile, tonight and it had the desired effect: zonking him right out. Khayman's cat has no friggin clue what to make of any of this. I think he may have snapped.
I think I'll try to sneak in a few winks while he's quiet. Back in a couple of hours. heheheh
At 1028 this morning, Jackson Aaron was introduced this world. He was 10 pounds 1 ounce (!!!!) and 21.5 inches long. He and mom are doing fine. :-) I've been up since 3:30 this morning, so I'll keep this short for now. I'll get together with mom tomorrow and see what she wants me to put up, here. More pics in my portfolio.
