Isn't it funny how sometimes when you least expect it, the past comes back to say Hi?



I have had that happen to me like three times now in this past week. Its kinda weird....



Not sure what to make of it...

As yet another holiday draws closer, I cringe. I used to love Christmas... getting to see houses all lit up in colors... the tree in the living room decked out to the nines... the house always smelling like tea and hot cocoa. It was never about the presents, don't get me wrong it was nice to get them but still. Nowadays, all it is about is trying to get people to spend spend spend spend. Who cares if you get into debt as long as you buy the biggest newest thing out there....



I have been trying to get back the Christmas spirit if for nothing else, for my son. I don't want to ruin his holiday spirit just because I have become jaded.



Now to make sure he doesn't turn material... or get anything Spongebob... shudder....
