Lust and lonliness over the internet does not love make...
Do you know what true love is?
...Today...good and bad.
Saw a career counselor this morning. Good. Went to a low-cost medical clinic to register - I had an appointment. Got nothing done. Bad.
No wonder my stomach is always a pain. Life's crap is really getting to me. I wouldn't be surprised if I have a damn ulcer.
I know - I should see a doctor...but that didn't work out today, remember?
Grrrr.

*hugs*
you will find a job, I am sorry for your sorrows.
Do you have to wait till your registration goes through ?
You have to jump thru a few hoops to get into anything low cost or free...plus, it takes awhile to get appts, as there are thousands like me who no longer have medical/dental coverage...so, we have to try to get into a gov't controlled system...and wait.
Many can't afford to wait; I'm sure there are some who are worse off than I am.
Dam it, keep them dam fangs clean!!
I spent the last three evenings with my pharmacy tech program; tonight, I will take a break and actually try to write. Most likely I will fall asleep in bed with my face in my notebook.
Whoa...exciting times.

Pharmacy Techs make good money....
Plus it's a rush handling controlled substances. Another perk ya get is when people ask you what you do, you can say, "Im a legal drug dealer." LOL. :P
LOL!
That's a good one!
Lol, good luck and write as much as you can...don't forget to save and back up! You evil dealer!
I stole this comment that borked left in PandorasBx journal regarding rude idiots in stores; this way, I can go back and read it, to get me laughing when I need to:

Going in through out door is nothing compared to the lycra-stretch-pants-wearing senior citizens fighting over who gets to ride the little scooter around the store. If you can get your oversized buttocks to the store, you can damn well make the effort to walk while there. Hell, lean against a cart or something as you wend you way through aisle after aisle of off-brand tiger-print panties and pork rinds. Just don't get on that stupid scooter. Of course, these are the same people who fail to return their shopping carts to the corrals in the parking lot. Heaven forbid you have to push that empty cart another twenty feet to prevent it from denting someone else's car.
Okay - I am a computard. My dumb ass need HELP! I am trying to apply for a job, and I can't upload my resume...this is what I get when I try:
"You have attempted to upload a file type that is not in a format that is supported for upload. Currently you are able to upload files with the following extensions: *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf, *.pdf, *.txt, *.html. Your file was not uploaded. Please try again with a supported file type"
So far, I've tried the extensions .doc, .pdf, .txt, with and without the *. I use to be able to upload stuff without a problem; my resume has always been a text word document. I'll admit that I'm not that computer-savy. Any ideas on how to change the name of my document to make it upload would be highly appreciated...thanks again!
(Hell - do I need to change my document? Not just the name)?

Yes. If you are specifically using Word, try saving the resume in the format .doc or .rtf.
File --> save as --> use the drop down menu for file type and select .doc or .rtf, name it and save it.
Proceedure is relatively the same if you're using WordPerfect or OpenOffice.
I don't know shit but I'm going to steal your word computard, hehe, I like the sound of it :P
LOL! No, but i CAN tell you swearing at the screen NEVER EVER works out...
Has what birra said worked?
Thanks, Birra - it worked like a charm! A bottle of tequila for you! LOL!
Damn - Miss Kitty just took a dump. The whole apartment stinks. I guess I should go scoop the shit out.
And yes folks - I can tell which cat took a dump by the smell.
Late yesterday afternoon, I received my books and supplies for my pharmacy tech program (2 boxes via UPS):
4 books, a workbook, and a box of bottles, measuring tools...and a bag of sodium chloride...???
I just completed my first chapter and quiz - it took about 2 hours. I did well...and I see that this will be very time-consuming...and it will be worth it!
I love Akira Kurosawa's films- especially the ones based on Shakespeare's plays, like Ran - based loosely on King Lear, and Throne of Blood, based on Macbeth.
His film Seven Samurai gave birth to The Magnificent Seven; then there is Rashamon, Yojimbo, and the later Dreams.
I wish that I had all of his major films in a DVD collection!
Still waiting for UPS to deliver my pharmacy tech books. Sigh.
Stressing out as I still don't have a job; my last interview was a joke - what a waste of time.
The stress is causing my stomach pains to come back- how fun.
It's another crappy hot day here - upper 80's four days in a row. I'm glad that I bought a cheap fan from Walmart last month.
My feet look horrible; they need a coconut oil massage and some red polish.
I need to write my next chapter here in The Diary of Isis - I can't think straight.
Time for a tuna and cucumber sandwich.

I myself have a small collection of Japanese Cinema classics including Seven Samurai, Kagemusha and Yojimbo. But I also have the Toshirō Mifune trilogy of Samurai Assassin, Samurai Rebellion, and Sword of Doom.
If you haven't seen any of those I would recommend you look them up, they are well worth watching.
Oh yeah - Toshiro Mifune was a badass!
Yes I agree...all great films
Today is the THIRD day of a police standoff; a guy is holed up in a cousin's apartment up in Sacramento with her baby- from all accounts, he is taking care of the baby...nevermind that he has, so far:
- shot up the police robotcam
- took a few shots at the cops (city and state cops)
The history of the standoff:
- the dude robbed three banks in the last month
- he shot and killed someone in San Francisco
- He shot a cop, and shot at many more
(And the way things are going, this list may grow...good grief. I hope that the baby gets out okay. The guy is only 25 years old)

Right now, a neighbor is loudly 'singing' R.E.M.'s 'Losing My Religion'...
"That's me in the corner- that's me in the spotlight..."
Whoever this guy is, I'd like for him to be within the sight of a shotgun.

ooooooooh noooooooo! *hangs head*
Dude, im so sorry lmao.
Is he that bad lol!
Actually, he didn't sound bad- it's just that the song annoys me, and I was trying to study.
FINALLY!!!
After almost a year of waiting, I've finally received my login codes and will be getting my books and other reading material for my pharmacy tech studies...
FYI: If anyone is interested in getting into the federal WIA program (Work Investment Act), be aware that it will take months - up to a year - to actually start doing shit.
COMMENTS
Graaa....still waiting for more of your story. I guess this means it will take even longer now ^^
Oh yeah and well done, you know for getting the books and doing the studies lol
Thanks and ha ha...Actually, I will be trying to do the next chapter this weekend...God willing!
Hey congrats at finally getting rolling! Sounds like the WIA needs an enema. And I have the tube...*cackles*

Where on earth did you get this?
Wow.. $30 for Pinky's special? A 3 minute lap-dance goes for almost $30 these days!
If only I had that Delorean...
Pinkeys special sounds quite relishing....I got just enough for that one! *reaches in pockets*

I fully agree. The one I grew to care for here moved to my town so we could date for real..and not just make believe. Lusting on line just equals delusions.
