Well...after dealing with them - and one nice helpful dude in particular - I got a later email apologizing for deleting my photos.

YES - EVERY LAST ONE OF MY PICS ON PHOTOBUCKET ARE GONE!!!

They claimed that it was 'a one in a billion chance' of something like that ever happening. Yeah - right. Of course, it would be my shit that disappears off of the face of the earth.

To make amends:

We thank you for your patience while we investigated the matter. Our engineering team has been working tirelessly to identify and recover your images. They identified a technical issue that had 1 out of a billion odds of occurring. Unfortunately, your account was one of the handful that were affected. They have spent countless hours to recover your images, but yielded no results. They have added additional safeguards in place to make sure this never happens again.

We are refunding all charges that have been made for the past 12 months. In addition, we will be providing two years of our highest plan offered (500gb) -- A $799.98 value.

Once again, we strongly apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Err...okay. Cool... sort of. I'll have to re-do my profile and port, and many of the pics I had used earlier are gone for good, as I thought that Photobucket would be a good place to store them, from an old virus-infected computer I had earlier. NOT!

Lesson learned.

Here it is - the 3rd day of a 4-day weekend, and I'm sick. Great. I've been feeling crappy since Friday. I'm sure that I caught something from one - or more - students at my workplace.

I can read, but I really wanted to complete work on a writing project. Not likely to happen now. The coughing and sneezing is sucking the energy out of me. Blah.

I use Photobucket for all of my pics here. I have got to find another medium, as Photobucket now truly sucks. (One can barely do anything there anymore. I just spent over 15 minutes trying to upload one pic. Not happening)...

And I just discovered that ALL OF MY PICS ARE GONE!!!

I have no idea as to how I'm going to re-vamp my profile and portfolio. UGH!!!

Other than that - I worked my ass off today. So much for a great B-day, huh? lol

imgur works great!!! I kept having photobucket say I was exceeding my limit and I was nowhere close. Then pics would disappear from my profile. I guess I need to log on and see what is left...lol
