Alchemy & The Foundations of Sourcery,
1)Everything has the potential to become the Kami, God-force emanation.
2)The connection between the elemental world is the cultivation through the connection to the micro and macrocosm.
3)The search for the refinement of the inner self, through the development of the supernal, physical and infernal frequencies.
4)Everything has the microcosm within, as well as the link to the macrocosm, the recognition of this is the key to awakening the spirit to its Kami.
5)The elements must be observed in their places, learned and connected with to integrate into the body of the seeker.
6)The macrocosm must be aligned with the microcosm of the individual, the two must become one.
These are the foundations of the Sourcery as has been the best way to explain the overall concepts. What the Source is, has been best classified as the “It” factor. It can't be deemed as something that exists, but all of existence holds traces of “It”. A selfless concept, but still existing in “self” structures of the body. When you walk down the path of Sourcery you are making the point to connect with the primal elemental as well as abstract forces that have created reality as we know it. The Titans of the Old world, the Nightmares, the Demons of the various religions and the Qlipoth of the Judaic paths, touch upon these. There are to finding eight major forces, that act as independent manifestations, Sources. These are all attributes found within all things that exist within the patterns of our reality; Life, Death, Mind, Time, Spirit, Chaos, Light, Darkness. Without any one of these we would not have a stable construct. So to is the Arts technique the development of the balance between these sources.
The spell construct has the Life intention that gives it form. The Death force is the change in structure of how it reacts with the target within the environment to cause the changes desired. The Mind, is the action of perception on how it manifests within this environment. The Temporal quality is the point of effect, as well as the period of delay which cause the work of the Art to come into manifestation. The Spirit is the frequencies that are generated by the entire work, the “spirit” or “essence” of the work. The Chaos factor exists within the route to manifestation, the laws of physics, quantum mechanics, as well as other law unrecognized. The Light factor represents the path of consumption, where how much energy is consumed by work to cause the frequencies to resonate at their proper levels. The Darkness exists in the conclusion of the work, where the generation of the intent comes to full manifestation after it has caused the changes within the world.
Through the use, and connection with these sources, the individual has the capacity to extend the will to connect to the primal elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Metal, Aether, Shadows, Lightning. These align to the major shifting factors found within the cosmos as the celestial gates which we must learn from, work with, and pass through the gates of in order to grow spiritually more like the forces which exist as the “Kami” or god-force manifestation of the “It”. Gnosis would place “It” as the feeling of unity that exists when the no-mind state has been reached. This point of enlightenment that connects the individual to the outer world, opening the inner wold to it. There is no reason to look towards other paths, if you can reach a point of Gnosis. This connection is what makes one like the Kami, to become one with the archetypal “GOD” principal. However, in the practice of sourcery, it is through the usage of this channel, this connection, this recreation of the body into the supernal body, and mind of the mage that is what fuels the frequencies that make the will manifest within the world.
To become connected with the source is only the first step in the journey. After awakening the Supernal mind, one must develop. One must strive to become a master of the self, and endure many journeys of the spirit that will forge their will as a point of creation. The lessons are many, and the road is harsh. In this way the master of the art comes, the professional Magus emerges, and in this capacity on becomes like unto the Kami principal. Beyond limitation, beyond dualism one becomes through their own will a source of darkness, light. Their mind becomes the point of generation. Their Life becomes one of balance and creation. Their death marks the regeneration of the journey, and the change in their personal form to continue the path in other directions. Their time represents the manifestation of the will that connects as the extension of the eternal. The Chaos they create represents the evolution in the spirit. Their Spirit is what touches this world, and that marks the self. The “God” has touched this world through the actions of the one who embodied the forms that extend from the source as the emanations of the primal world.
“It” manifests, in many forms, causes much generation, regeneration, decay and every other process that we can observe, and what we cannot possibly fathom. Darkness is the passive nature of It, where as the light is the active nature. It is the Yin and Yang principal. For this understanding, we as mages craft ourselves between the active and passive forces of creation. We find generation in light, as we find it in the primal darkness. It is Alchemy, in the greatest form, as the transformation from impure states to refined states, the change, the chaos, is what makes it worth the lessons. When one becomes as the Kami, one must then live as the Kami, and apply the will back to the world which created it.
