They are in a situation that they cannot contact home very often. Finally was able to talk to his wife for about 5 min after waiting in a 2 hour line. My heart had been in my throat for weeks. Such a hard long day at work. So glad to be off this weekend.

Close family member will deploy next week. Sweetheart kid. Just found out his wife is expecting. He will be gone for at least 8 months. We are not allowed to say where.

Thank u for the best wishes for our boy. We are not allowed to tell exactly where he will go. He's just informed the general area as they don't want to give out locations given. They can get kicked out for such a breach . I don't think he really know exactly. They are still saying no boots on the ground as of yet. I guess they will be at the ready when needed.
