Why? Because Turkey Day used to be a time to spend with friends/family and remember the hardships of the Pilgrims and how they celebrated their survival with their neighbors, the Native Americans. Not once was it mentioned the awesome deals the Pilgrims got when they went to the local puritan shopping mall at midnight, because THAT DID NOT HAPPEN! It was only in the last 40 years were we tricked into waking before sunrise and swarm the retail stores just find a cheaper item. We are retarded.

Please stay home after your Turkey Dinner.... And then stay home enjoy the quality quiet time with your loved ones until Sat..... THEN you can go shopping.

And also... Please don't put out your Xmas stuff until December..... Maybe this year, Xmas can be a less annoying, less stressful, and less commercial holiday. Thanks for listening.

I agree. I do not support the commercialism of xmas. Why it takes one "holiday" for any of this to happen is beyond me. I gift all year. The core values of Christmas is what I enjoy, not the retail part of it. Thank you for this!
