Walking about,

Trying to scream,

Trying to shout,

But still no sound comes out.



Choking on words,

Gasping for air,

Slowly sinking,

Into mindless despair.



Scratching, clawing,

Trying to get out,

Trying to find meaning,

To what life is all about.



I yell,

I scream,

Wet myself in this endless dream.



Stuck within this meaningless world,

Trying to see clearly,

Yet everything is blurred.



It seems that no matter how hard I try,

I still get stuck, caught,

As spiders do with flies.



And I'm left with only one option,

From the earth I came,

No one that will yearn,

For me to still be there,

For my body to still breathe in air,



Only sounds of corpses rotting,

Only memories and dreams,
