As an adult,

You find someone and get married.

If you are lucky,

The love you have will never be buried.



However,

If you are like most of the universe.

Your life together,

Will end in a miserable divorce.



Just when you don’t think you will love again,

You find yet another companion.



You have children,

And vow never to leave.

But something happens,

And all you can do is greave.



So you stay for the children’s sake,

And try to avoid the wakes.



Then you find someone else,

Who make you feel safe.

But you can’t truly be with them,

Because you have a whole other life.



So you sneak around,

Looking over your shoulder.

Hoping that your spouse,

Doesn’t notice your love growing colder.



Soon your stomach is in knots,

From trying to keep up with all the lies.

You know you can’t be with the one you love,

So you do everything in your power to make sure

the love never dies.



Then you finally realize,

Just how cruel life can be.

Because no matter what,

You will never be free.

Our situation,

Started in an unusual way.

Causing us,

To hide from your uncle Ray.



In a short period of time,

We found that we loved one another.

Realizing,

We did want any other.



But you are afraid,

To be in a relationship.

Even though,

We seem to be joined at the hip.



So I patiently wait,

For all my dreams to come true.

Because nothing matters,

As much as my love does for you.

Have you ever loved someone,

So much that you want to cry?

I have and would do anything,

To make sure that feeling will never die.



But sometimes,

I feel there is nothing I can do.

To be able,

To spend the rest of my life with you.



So please,

Tell me what you need from me.

For the both of us,

To be happy and free.



I would do anything,

For you to understand.

Just how much I want to,

Walk with you hand in hand.

Every now and then,

Love comes your way.

Unfortunately, life gets difficult,

And everything goes astray.



You try to hold onto what matters,

And let everything else wilt.

But something always finds a way,

To ruin the love you have built.



So you must decide,

If love is worth holding on to.

Then you must do everything in your power,

To defeat those things standing in the way of what is true.

You come to me in my dreams,
