When you make a journal entry that includes (and is not limited to) homophobic, derogatory insults, weight and body shaming, name-calling, slut-shaming, ableism, speciesism, attacks on character and life choices...
It's no wonder someone will remove you from a Coven.
No-one in the history of this long and lovely world needs to be surrounded by that amount of negativity.
I don't care who said it, or who it is aimed at, no-one deserves that, no-one needs to be around that, and it's no wonder someone wouldn't want you in a Coven when you're saying things like that.
Neither my CM nor I need that negativity, so I removed them from the Coven in question.
People need to take responsibility for their actions and their words, and own up to the fact that they're using their own beliefs as an "avenue of attack" in claiming everything has got to do with *insert belief/choices here*.
It's like saying "You don't like me because I'm short."
I don't like you because you're being unpleasant.
Being short has nothing to do with it, and did not factor into the decision.
I'm assuming it has something to do with someone's journal entries on here, and the devastating abundance of Quorn flooding our supermarkets (and thus pushing out quality products like Linda McCartney and Fry's), but I literally had nightmares about Quorn a couple of nights ago.
I dreamed I went to the supermarket and looked in the freezer isle, and it was all orange boxes. Only orange boxes. I was surrounded by those damn orange boxes, and they were all on sale. I went to another store, and the same thing.
It was actually horrible.
I woke up and fully thought the world had dismissed all products other than Quorn.
This... reflects the fact that supermarkets are slowly pushing out good products (Gardein and so on) in favour of Quorn, which is vegetarian faux meat. Gardein, Linda McCartney and Fry's are all vegan, and all superior in taste, quality, texture... every way, they're a better product. They're never on sale, and slowly being phased out by... effing Quorn.
*grumble*
Only one store sells Fry's here (our main supermarket chain) and they only sell two of the 10 or more products they make. Fry's fake chicken schnitzels are fucking *amazing*. I know Linda McCartney, Fry's and Gardein all make MUCH more than is sold here. And it's not even a locational thing - I've lived in cities and shopped at different versions of the same stores... only one or two of those brands are sold... right next to the 5 or more SHELVES of GODDAMN QUORN.
WHY.
WHY U DO DIS.
HELL, we don't even GET Tofurky here in supermarkets - I have to go to a speciality store and buy it quickly, before it sells out. Gardein is only sold in VERY limited small (and expensive) supermarkets here (and speciality stores), and there's no guarantee of price or what version of Gardein is sold.
Apparently Fry's make faux "chicken" nuggets that are the best product they make (and again, I've already said their fake chicken schnitzels are incredible) and I've never even seen them.
Why?
BECAUSE QUORN SELLS SIMILAR THINGS, SO THEY TRY FORCE YOU TO BUY QUORN INSTEAD.
GAAAAAAH.
I hate you, Quorn.
I keep seeing/hearing the same words lately. It may just be me, being that I particularly dislike the connotations behind the words (because there's a series of them) and their use - but lately... I've heard people using them a lot more. In conversation, in writing, they're... sadly prolific. Sigh.
I listened to a god-awful conversation yesterday, which doesn't help.

This is the sad thing about society, if one person isn't happy, they don't want anyone else to be. It just makes me think of ying and yang; positive and negative. -shrugs- it will always be here.
