i had a strong premonition to offer sanctuary to a friend when needed, and decided to act on it. it is not needed today, but was gratefully accepted. my premonition says sanctuary will be needed in the next few weeks.



of course, i am afraid that i am over-reacting, but i would rather over-react, then see harm befall my friend.

The cards have suggested that tonight is a good night for the kindred.

my companion was restless, as he frequently is when the barometer drops and the thunder rolls.



i idly watched several brown bears, some with cubs, catching and devouring salmon from the river. the cubs particularly enjoyed the fat female fishes filled with roe.



there is a man filming them, but alas, he is destined to be their supper in a few weeks. welcome to the food chain, mortal. . .

last night was wonderful night around here. warm with the smell of blood on the wind...it was a wonderful night for hunting, all senses were heightened and i was able to move silently.



as i sit here this morning preparing to retire, i am fully sated and expect to rest peacefully all day.
