Sitting here under the stars

Can’t bare this awful pain of my heart

Feeling like stranger in my own land

I just need an answer…

Feeling the wind running through my hair

Seeing the moon weeping for me

I cry silent tears

Silent tears that no one sees

but as I lay my head down on my pillow

The tears become visible,

but with no one around to see.

The mask I wear each day

is thick enough to cover my feelings.

My feelings of hatred and love.

My thoughts of life and death.

I will not allow my tears to be seen.

I won't allow them to be heard.

People don't see them

because I refuse to let them be seen.

The pain is mine

The hate is for me

The tears are silent.

All day long

Everyday of the week.

I cry silent tears.

Bright days scar me,

Guided bye the Blinding Light,

He didn’t give up that fight,

But here I am,

Alone tonight,

Waiting for the light of day,

There’s nothing more to say,

And I’ve gone underground,

Cause I don’t want to be found,

Why can’t the moon shine for always?

Free me from this cage of solid hopes,
