Right that’s it the straw that broke the camels back, created this section in my journal and has given me cause to kick off. This is a rant it doesn’t require comments and won’t care if it hurts your feelings; you don’t like it stop reading.



For the third time this morning, no, in 15 minutes my computer has shutdown my IE because of some idiot’s massively graphic heavy profile. I know a picture is worth a thousand words but you don’t need a 10,000+ word profile. If you are too illiterate to understand the second most basic form of communication, i.e. reading and writing then go back to school and learn before writing your profile, don’t steal images from other sites and stuff in your page as a substitute for your lack of creativity.





For those that do it to show off their skill in coding etc. +10 points for style -10,000,000 points for practicality, if you are in a position where you everything about computers and can afford the latest equipment then well done. Now it is time to go to the politeness + manners shop and buy yourself some CONSIDERATION for the rest of us. We can’t all afford a whizz-bang, super-duper, all the bells and whistles, computer or even, in my case, a simple graphics card upgrade. I am struggling along on a Nvidia graphics card that is two years old with 2.2ghz processor on a 4 year old mother board, There are games I desperately want to play but don’t even buy as my first priority is to rebuild my PC from the ground up. However here is a list of things I have to do first:



Fit double glazing, central heating and a new kitchen to my house ( and yes these are essential my windows are rotting in place, my kitchen walls are so damp the 25 years old cupboards are falling off them, and English winters are cold enough that I can’t not heat a house with three young children and a disabled lady.)

Feed my family

Pay my mortgage

Pay my taxes and utility bills

Clothe my family

Afford my commuting expenses

Pay for a large number of birthday events and Christmas on a yearly basis

Etc, etc.



As you can see it will be about 2016 before I get a vaguely cool machine to do this stuff on. I am sure there are others on here in a similar position.

Don’t take away from me the one site I can rely on to make me happy, you do this with your profile and I can’t rate you or find out anything about you.

I am having similar problems and I don't think it is your computer all the time. I think it is VR. Since the changes were put in place here I started having problems myself loading things. Some have too many graphics but even at that I had no basic problem until recently and now I am getting error messages here. I can no longer play the games. I keep getting "VR Game Error" and get logged out or it will say hammering even though all I did was click on games and then hangman and was bounced out of the site. I use graphics to split up my writing. Some have 70 something graphics but still for the most part on a basic computer I have been able to get them to load fairly decent until recently. It might be a bandwidth problem here or errors in the new coding being done while we are on the site...beats me, lol. Hopefully all of this will be resolved and then maybe your issue will too.

Theres been a few of us that have ranted over the 10 billion pics profiles that slow us all down - I usually rate those low automatically, lol.

Ahh so it`s not just me having problems with slow loading profiles etc

it`s so frustrating when my page goes to internet explorer not responding...

and it isant my computer that is to blame

poor machine i have been cursing it something rotten lol

well bloody god damn V R great updates so far!



hope people dont have problems when on my page

i dont have a background

but do have quite a few pictures lol

oh and i changed the colours...
