"Go" Said the bird to the dead man. "Go and be free."
The man turned and asked the bird. "Why not come with me? Your wings will keep up, while I go to heaven."
The bird turned away and replied. "Even though I can be physically free, these wings will never be strong enough to carry my worn and tattered soul."
To this the man said, "They are not strong enough, only because you refuse them to be. Like your feathers and bones, your soul is just as light. It is you who carries it so heavily."
