The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Wanted to ask for Artist if you wanted to design a book Cover art for my story The Phantom Stranger.



Please let me know.



Criteria, you must have read it and know what the story is about see the entry in my story section of my journal.

Things I find wrong with how the VR system works.



1. Name Changes



It's annoying, that for something that was supposed to be used for legitimate reasons for changing a name is being abused. Time and time again, someone somewhere on my friends list has changed their name several times for the simple fact someone rated them a 1.







2. The Forum



Regardless of the rule to never delete anything in the forum. I've gone from almost 1000 entires in the forum to 200 that's a significantly sign of loss and loss of levels I can never get back. Even when presenting the staff with questions as to why they are no longer there. An answer never is revealed.



Bottom line I want my numbers back. I should be a lot higher level than I actually am. I highly doubt that will ever happen.



3. Inductions



The reason this doesn't work is because of the following fact. If someone doesn't want to be a member of your coven/house they complain about it. Even though it clearly states you have no choice.



That statement's not accurate. People have deleted and started over to avoid being put in a place they don't want to be.



When inducted and if the member stays in the coven/house. Other than blinding them there's nothing a coven/house master can do to get them to participate in something they should be active in.



I would like to see more options for a house/coven to be able to do to get someone to post in their coven/house. Limit them from only posting in the coven/house and showing they were blinded don't do anything they still have access to everything else on the site.



4. Customization



I'd like to see the skinning available or something like it for covens / houses I think it would be neat to be able to basically design the entire look of your coven. Yes I'm aware you can alter the look of it in HTML format. The process isn't well shall we say perfect and you have to know a lot of code to be able to get that to work correctly. Have a walk through of how to make a great page. If skinning it isn't an option.



I like VR this is not a complaint about how it works, just things I think could be fixed.

I so get you on the name change thing. Some go way way way to far on changeing there name its not even worth sometimes bothering to keep up with anymore.



The Forum............ -_- ahhh yeah. feel the pain there.



And inductions.......... -_- I haven't 'inducted' a member in so long, i think i forgot how to....



Last but not least..... your number 4.....



Love to see more opiontions as well.

My muse is slipping further away. I feel I have nothing left in me to design. I feel at my last straw, I feel so tired and ill. I don't know what's going on with me and frankly I'm scared. I want to do something really cool with my profile but my options are limited due to the coding of this site.





I haven't eaten today I am hungry but I don't want to eat. I know I should.

I hope that you can shake this long bout with the flu and start feeling better SOON! Your muse is always there but you have to get physically better first. Your creative streak is on the way. Watch. You will see.



Though the site's design options are limited.......you ALWAYS make your profile one of the most AWSOME ones on VR (and you've helped out many with their own including yours truly). I have faith in you. You'll nip this and you're gonna create something amazing. Focus on healing yourself and the creative stuff will fall into place.

We all have our moments in time that we wish we could take back. It's 2011 folks time to forgive, forget and move on. If you can't do any of this then don't for me I'm choosing to move on. I forgive , I forget and I move on. A fresh start for the year.
